this article needs more details... how old is this guy, is he married or have a family? what happened with the high school student, was he/she consenting? why is battery? did he threaten, or abuse this person? need more info........

james is good man. he has been workimg with kids and families for almost 20 yrs. he has a beautiful wife and five kids. he even adopted kids. almost everything he has done to help has been volunteer. i was homeless and he gave me a place to stay and food to eat for months. this guy is for real in helping and ask for nothing in return. how dare ppl mock him. thank you Mr. Clay. all you others need to speak up.

I have known James for 41 years. People make mistakes. James has made some in his life, but this is not one of them. His love for people and his love for the man above are well beyond question. Those of you who say he did it himself need to question 3 things, 1. why would he endanger his children, 2.why would he sacrifice everything he worked for in that low down, racist community? 3. why would he give his soul to Satan for destroying the lives of his family? i moved from Miami County in 1986. There is no hope for a well educated black man who is looking to improve his life. i moved to florida and i am an operations manager for a billion dollar company which is owned by the Miami Dolphins owner. i was given a chance, the door was open and i am a black Piqua man who spent time in jail because the system in miami county is ran by dirty politicans. Jermaine shame on you. BROTHER.

One thing is for sure weather or not James set his own house on fire this trial of sexual battery needs to move forward and quit being delayed. You would think an "inocent" man would want his name cleared in a real hurry. I dont care what color anyone is justice needs served to all those who violate a child and especially in a sexual manner. I want to see justice served no matter if he is guilty or innocent why is this being prolonged to continue to hurt all those families involved. I do know one for sure, James Clay has made mistakes which we all do however, he has also made many innpropriate comments to young girls in the presence of people. Being of god myself these comments are not of comments someone of god would make. and by the way how many wives has james clay had?
