Doesn't anyone find it interesting that the Texas County Republican Party put up Republican candidate, Kevin McGowen, against Republican incumbent Debbie James? That speaks volumns. Tells me her own political party doesn't want her re-elected. How embarassing for her.

Debbie gets my vote. I have seen Kevin in "office" before and being treated as somebody not of his same worth in life was not a great feeling. Where I will say as individuals running for office, people should never say anything about these or any other officials family members right or wrong. All I am saying is God created us all as equals and that is how he intended each of us to treat each other.

It is true that all are created equal but everyone does not take advantage of opportunities the same and so some become more qualified than others. It is really very simple. Debbie has not done a good job because she does not have the proper qualifications. We have to stop voting for politicians who smile and tell us they are our friends who look out for our better interests. Debbie James is only interested in helping Debbie James. She is common and uneducated and not qualified. Vote her out. Try a fresh approach.

You know, most of the people that will vote tomorrow does not even read or care what is written on here. I'd say a lot of the trash talk is coming from both sides of the fence but Kevin has used Topix to trash people before but they got elected anyway.

Kevin is too nice to use this forum but I'm not. I will tell the truth about Debbie James and if the people still vote for her then they deserve what they get. When you put a politician with no qualifications in charge of your tax assessments you get messed up tax assessments. That is what has happened in Texas County with Debbie James. Try something different or expect the same old problems.
