The owners are great people. But one thing about their service is it's not consistent as far as the price goes. And they are high but they do great work.

I took my car in for repair and they put on a bunch of parts that i didnt need.i also found out that they didnt put on what they said they did.

I caught them in a large lie too. Honesty is very important in a mechanic, and I feel JCs can't be trusted.

I am one of the owners of JC's. Let me first say that if there is ever a problem as I tell ALL of our customers to let us know we are more than happy to explain your bill or even work with you. Yes, most of our bills are inconsistant as far as pricing goes... you wouldn't want to pay an hour for something that took only half an hour would you? ALL vehicles are different, driven different and cared for differently. Some jobs are faster than others simply due to cleanliness. If you have ever been here, you have been told to let us know if there is a problem, we can't fix it if we don't know. I am dissapointed in this site...it seems just to be a bashing ground for people with nothing better to do.

ive never been to jc's but i have talked to people who have and they have done good work. you cant bid a job on every car the same there machines and all are different and have different problems.. but i dont think this post was made as an honest inquiry but as a subtle way to start a bashing post

i have been to jcs and i have talked to ppl and have talked to a few employees and the conclusion in mu opinion is as long as it has nothing to with ur car airconditioner ur ok as long as u dont mind over paying fo parts to make up for them droping the labor rate to make it look good and there mechanics r paid a percentage of the labor rate so the owners r payin outless and pocketing more i took my suv to them and the went to a salvage yard to get my part and charged me for the part plus half from orielies not the salvage yard price iknow this becausethe parts r even marked ls which is lees salvage not even smart enough to take it off i know what they actually paid and what i was charged

It is politically correct to mark salvage parts up to 25% or as much as 1/2 the price the price of a new item. Then if they went to Lee's, you should pay shipping. If you do not like the price, you should have went to Rville and got the part yourself! then worked something out with the owners to install your parts.

i just want to say that jc is a crook i took my car there to get an inspection and ended up with a laundry list of things that were wrong. so i took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion and found out about half the things were not even wrong with the car .its one thing to try and sqeeze work out of a persons car.its not rite and fair.i myself will never be going back.

I took my car there and they told me the bill was gona be 437.88 and when i picked it up it was like 897.00they fixed a whole bunch of things i didnt ask them to fix,becouse i didnt have the money. not happy i will never go there again.plus the guys they have working there look like they just got out of prison..

So here is my opinion, I know a lot of mechanics and they all seem to have lots of ink...even if they have been locked up, they all still know how to fix my car better than any random auto repairman. Also, the place in the spotlight..JC's..the owners make the decision on what work is actually done. The mechanics are responsible to do a computer scan and look over point areas fill out a paper and wait for management to approve work or add repairs. Billing is all on management not mechanics. Some mechanics may get nosey or just want to ruffle the customers feathers...unless they were searching for an owners manual, lol...if nothing was taken...maybe before leaving a car for repairs anywhere, removing items you find personal or valuable is a better plan...just an idea. Aso to avoid overspending...shop around and get estimates before making that final decision.

Nothing in the previous post is intended to be rude towards the customers, the business, or the mechanics. I have had the same experiences with getting my car repaired...in many different auto shops. So please do not take offense.
