Everybody forgets that Real-ID will be coming into effect soon. There is no escaping it. This is just a temporary set back but reality is that IT IS COMING!!!

What you are forgetting is that RealID has come and gone several times already with extensions to continue our non compliance. The next round is in Jan of 2013, which more than likely will be extended again so NM can continue to put the security of the US at risk.

I hope to see RealID become a fact in NM and that if we fail to comply, that it hurts. Just rewards for failure to act as we should have long ago. It won't bother me in the least if I'm unable to enter any federal facilities, nor to fly, or if I have to obtain a passport just to fly OUT of NM, let alone outside the US. Oh well! You get what you ask for.

I live in NE. We have secure DL's. Within the first year, the state initiated over 500 investigations into people wanting to renew their licenses, under false pretenses. The program works!

I live in the state of WA. The good news is that it will take some of the slack off of WA.

The bad news is that a once great country is being tuned into a third world cess pool because it is being overrun by people who come from such.

Just and FYI. Seattle, a sanctuary city, has recently had to increase its police enforcement by approximately $8million in order to combat the recent surge in gang violence...latino gang violence. While we have had gangs like any other major metro city, the significant increase within the past 3-4 years has been unprecedented. In these times of severe budget cuts, please remind me how illegal aliens are good for America!

I also just read from cis.org , that something like 40% of new hires in TX went to illegal aliens, and 40% to newly arrived legal aliens. Don't get upset, they saved 20% of the jobs for you!!!

I agree, some form of it is coming because it is part of the oppression plan for American citizens, you know, the control under the guise of Homeland Security. Yet, with the political wave of pimping and pandering to illegal aliens, I will bet you your next latte that there will be an ambiguous clause that allows for a "body" of illegal aliens to get them legally. The same as this crap that obama pulled with the 300,000 review on case by case basis for those who would qualify for the Dream Act even though it has failed 3 times within the past 10 years! You see my point?

Americans can't expect to get jobs just because they are americans. You've got to work for what you get and can't be drawing $25 an hour being protected by a union for doing nothing.

One undocumented worker is always willing to help another. We know we can trust each other.
