Licensed illegals at fault

The New Mexico Legislature has now concluded its annual session. Along with Governor Susanna Martinez, it faced the challenge of making do with less revenue and therefore having to try to cut various programs or else raise taxes. Full Story

Yes Win, they are at fault. They put hospitals, law enforcement and citizens under the burden of paying for their mistakes and crimes.

The victims of identity theft, rape, murders and many other crimes would agree.

Now, think hard Win, illegals are in the United States. So that means they had to cross somehow.

That means that you being a "Christian" man think it is ok for those same poor people cross into the US with the chance of being murdered, robbed raped or dying from exposure?

P.S. I heard Columbus has a few job openings.....

We are either a nation of laws, or we're not. Can't be both. One of the reasons that the US works so well is that we are (or used to be) taught to obey the laws and rules of our country. The Mexicans, and others, who came here illegally obviously don't share our same passion for order and justice. It's just another degradation of our nation and culture that is leading to our decline and eventual demise. Mexican, generally have no respect for other people and their property as evidence by Mexican grafitti on everything that moves or doesn't move, yet they demand Americans respect their "culture", or lack thereof.

If the US is a nation of racists, why have 30 million Mexicans left their peace, love, and racial harmony utopia to relocate in the US? That doesn't make sense. It's intellectually lazy and dishonest to label all cultural criticism as "racist". I know you're better than that.

Nah, we're a nation of people who believe in the rule of law. We despise criminals of all types, especially illegal foreign national ones who sneak into our country to cheat us and steal from us. So you see, it has nothing at all to do with race, little sparky.

Might be for the same reason that 230 million "European cave-living" scumbags flooded our country when the govt opened up the amnesty port at Ellis Island. Mexicans had been here for 300 years before you showed up, Hippie drawers. It is also intellectually lazy and dishonest to credit the success of this country to your merits when all you have done is let your greed contaminate and ruin our environment. Trust me, it's your ignorance, bigotry, and stupidity that makes you put the Mexican down every time you open your mouth, when all they do is work. You should be worried about the Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese. They already own half of this country, their economies are booming, and we with our drugged up work force can't even compete.

Well this is the way I see it. If some complete stranger walked into your house and sat down in your chair and started watching T.V. you would probably call the cops. The reason is because the person is there illeagly and you dont know anything about the person. You dont know if they are there just to hang out or if they are there to hurt you or steal from you but they are in your house. Now if this was someone you knew and you invited them in it would be diffrent. Same as immigration If people are here illeaglly then they should have no rights to anything here. Now if they went through the process to be hear leagl then we know a lil about the person and we let them in. But giving a Driver's License to someone that is not even suppost to be here is the same as some complete stranger breaking into your house and you have to rent them a movie to watch on your T.V. I mean it just makes no sense. But thats just my thought.

It took those Europeans' brains and money to make something of the area where Mexicans lived for 300 years. Spain, then Mexico, begged US citizens and Europeans to develop that land because Mexicans had no clue how to do it and no money to do it with, even if they wanted to try. Since Mexico has never been a successful country and the USA has been a successs from the start, Mexicans want to steal everything the USA has and kill it as a sovereign country. Duh, Mexicans.

Mexicans are too stupid to realize that the US Constitution is what makes us a great country. Mexicans are doing everything they possibly can to destroy that Constitution. Duh, Mexicans. Not a big surprise, really. Look what you made for yourselves in Mexico. La Raza isn't all that clever or capable of much other than creating a criminal society of corruption and poverty. Talk about scum of the earth. LMAO.

You're not telling the truth about what Ellis Island was. That's because the truth makes today's illegal aliens from hispanic countries look really criminally bad - they would never have made it through Ellis Island because they would never have qualified for legal entry into the USA. Europeans who qualified were invited and welcomed because they contributed to the country. Today's illegal aliens only bring us destruction and greed, and still don't qualify for legal entry. They are grievous burdens on American society.

The USA never needed or wanted hispanics in any large number. Hispanics were peasant farmers, for the most part, and only familiar with Mexican soil and climate. They were best suited to live in Mexico and countries south of the US border. It took Europeans who knew how to live in northern climates and knew well how to farm and build in northern climates to make the USA a great country. It took a gene pool with higher IQs to deal with the USA wilderness and build great cities/new technologies. Mexicans couldn't do that.

Mexicans never had a clue how to help develop a country and still don't. They never even developed California, AZ, Texas or NM, all of which had similar climates to Mexico's. Mexicans were bested by US native American tribes at every turn, so hispanics didn't live north of the Rio Grande in any great number. Mexicans want those areas back now only because American citizens did the hard work for their lazy, incapable asses, and made something valuable out of the land after the USA bought it. Duh, Mexicans.

Spain was always a traditional enemy, and hispanics were all allied with Spain or ruled over by Spaniards. Why would any country want traditional enemies living on its soil? It's still that way today - Mexico is an enemy, not a good neighbor.

Gloria allred and that house cleaning illegal mexican alien decided who Californias next Governor would be. Sad. California and Nevada are no longer governable. Hey Washington, Power and Greed for ones self interest sponsored by corporate employers and illegal mexican aliens are against the Constitution of The United States of America. You can all be SHOT once convicted, and you can be. No pardons. They did this to our country with their corrupt decisions. They are not worth their pay check. I disagree, for a small percentage of people that support the Governor, these people are probably racist. For the majority of people though, this is an issue of controlling our borders. Law abiding illegals enter our country as well as violent criminals and terrorist. We need to keep the criminals and terrorist out of our country! I think most people are for responsible immigration (legal), but simply we do not trust the government to implement a fair and enforceable policy. I do not blame the immigrants, all the blame should go to our government.

It’s not just a safety issue, in fact I would say that is a brush stroke in the big picture. Lets take a good look at the situation. Years ago we were a young country, going through a major industrial and economic growth spurt. Railroads were being built, towns were growing into cities the popltaion was expanding along with our country which required a workforce that was not present at that time. As a result mass immigration was encouraged. After the railroads were built and with the growing industrial complex a need for roads and highways developed thus requiring a continued immigration effort to help bulid this country. People were ecouraged to come and help build this great country and in return they would become a part of it.
Let’s face it, there has not been any major growth in industry or infrasturcture in this country for years, the need to encourage mass immigration is long behind us. Now it’s time to level off and make the lives of our citizen the quality of life that was promised in the Bill of Rights and our Constitution.
When you have 8-10% unemployement then there is no need to bring in more workers. I know, I can hear some saying that those people don’t want to work, and I will agree that probably 3% of them fall into that category. That still leaves us with 5-7% of people that do want to work but can’t find jobs.
We also have a large population of “working poor” and homeless that needs to be addressed. We need to fix, and by fix I mean drastically reduce these numbers before we even consider more immigration.
I know, for most people, when we can look around and see that our citizens who are a part of this great Country, and have been for generations, when we can look around and see that our fellow countrymen are working, making an honest wage and living within a decent standard, then we can feel good about welcoming Immigration.
Our country is over populated for what it can sustain at this point in time and allowing more people to come here, putting more of our citizens out of work makes no sense at all. It is neither compassionate to our own citizens nor the people who come here.

I know that is your version of history and you have the right to see it that way. But it does not change the fact that this is the United States now and there is nothing that can be done about it. So what kind of country do you want it to be? Do you want it to be a Country that is prosperous, where it's citizens live in a fairly comfortable environment with a decent quality of life? Or do you want it to be like Mexico? Really think about it long and hard.

If DC pirates stole it all, then where did the Mexicans get it from in the first place ? Was it handed down to them from their descendants or did they take it from someone else ?

Tell that to the Aztecs. They were there first before Mexico was a country. Now you are a revisionist historian!

Please, can you stop with the racist nonsense? It's so tiresome to hear every disgreement with policy labeled as racist. The governor is hispanic, and it's her policy. Anyway, when did hispanic, or latino, or whatever, become a race? Spanish, and Mexicans of Spanish origin are caucasion. Hispanic is a political term. Italians, for example, that immigrated to the US are categorized as caucasion. Italians that immigrated to South America are catagorized as hispanic or latinos. Why? It's more about culture than race.

Capital and labor should generally be allowed to flow to where they are required, but should should respect the host country.
