Looks like you will have to search for it. Topix is truncating the link.

I wonder how that differs from "traditional" or "historical" liberalism.
CN, I hope you will give just one concrete example of how America is being destroyed--not just vague rantings saying it has happened.
If one does not know the difference between classical liberalism and modern liberalism, they need to do quite a bit more study. The two are unrelated to each other.

Modern liberals pretend to have a direct ideological link to the founders (when it suits them to do so), but the reality is modern liberalism merely usurped the term in order to appear grounded in history. It is humorous that when called out on the subject, the modern liberal will more often than not switch gears and label the founders as nothing more than racist, slave-owning elitists. Modern liberals don't like to deal with historical fact.

Modern liberalism is a relatively recent ideology in the United States. It is, without a doubt, destroying our nation. Our current "leader", Barack Obama, promised to do so during his first campaign..when he promised "fundamental change".

No.

Proving that as free citizens, my family and myself make the primary decisions that affect the lives of my family and myself, and they are not based upon which way the political wind is blowing.

Spain is nice. No too much rain in the mountains. You could keep some goats. Home school your kids and it's very conservative I understand. Pretty strict gun laws but free health care. I'm sure you and your family would love it there. Maybe we could start a fund. I'm sure a lot of people would love to see you and your gene pool gone from the US. Every little bit helps our liberal cause.
All you cons just shite too close to the house to suit the rest of us.

Complete bull hockey.

I've been around many years, through several presidents, and believe me, conservatives and liberals have always had these differences. It most certainly is not unique to today.

Keep your fund. Traditional Americans don't want your money. We just want our country back. In the meantime, we will live our lives as if the left doesn't exist, and will fight the left in every election.

And we WILL get our country back, eventually. We will be the ones who pick up the pieces when you fail. And you will, inevitably, fail.

But traditional Americans are a forgiving lot. So there is hope for some of you. After the left offers proper penitence, and learns the error of their ways, those deemed worthy will be welcomed back into the fold. Those who will not, will be shunned, as they should have been all along.

Really? I considered you unAmerican after reading just one of your posts. So I guess we aren't going to agree on anything.

Oh well. I speak for every traditional American when I say: "We'll live."

Libertarians and conservatives are closely aligned with the founders. Modern liberals are something the founders never dreamed of encountering, much less having to deal with politically.

And as the left moves farther and farther towards big-government socialism, leaders who were considered "liberal" in their day, men such as JFK and LBJ, would not recognize the ideology of today's Democrat Party.

I just love when you squeal like that. Makes me laugh. What you'll really do is continue to drag the GOP down with your, so called, "traditional values". So you just keep up the good work. Maybe a good Libertarian at the top of the ticket.

I see CN still hasn't explained even one way America is being destroyed by liberalism. I doubt he can do that because it's just that wing nut stuff he spouts without even questioning.

He seems to think that all who don't view life through his same myopic vision are out to get him.

Still, I would have thought he could come up with something. No substance.
