In 2003 when Bush and Cheney abandoned our troops in Afghanistan with no mission, no leadership, no strategy and few resources because a war in Iraq would be more profitable to them, the outcome of the war in Afghanistan was decided: we lost. Obama has been monumentally stup id to stay the course in Afghanistan. There is absolutely NOTHING to be gained by leaving even one U.S. soldier there.

I, too, was disappointed that 100% troop withdrawal is delayed once again. Our service men and women should not be subjected to 3-plus more years of duty in Afghanistan. It is a no-win, no clear mission mistake for us to continue in that country.

We will eventfully at sometime in the future pay dearly for this pull out. It will be American blood spilled on American soil by terrorists. It is not an "if" it happens, it will be a "when" it happens. It will happen again. Why will it happen, because the American people are not willing to do what needs to be done to eliminate these animals. On the other hand the Islamic extremist will do anything to further their cause to kill off the western infidels.

The war in afganistan is about securing the vast Lithium deposits there to run all the toy cars the greenis want!! China controls the rest of it both theirs and the rights in Chile. We don't have any folks and the toy cars will make us 100% dependent on forgien countries for our transportation needs. That's why we are there and why the libs will keep us there. Part of the green jobs plan.

Osama predicted this when it all started. The americans lack the courage and resolve to finish anything. We proved this in VN and have been failures ever since. I'm a Viet vet and we could have won in months if the politicians had stayed out of it. Go in fast, big and with no mercy.
