The writer speaks well in his writings about his own situation and the need to keep Wright House open. While I am not a crusader for causes, there are some efforts in the community that generate huge profits for people, some of whom might consider giving some support to Wright House or even taking a chance on hiring someone from there and giving them a chance to earn their way in the world. Additionally, the City has spent some huge amounts of money on projects that I will not detail here, and they might consider putting some effort into making Wright House succeed. After all, taking meth users off the street and lowering the number of DUI's will allow police to focus on other areas that are not being solved quickly.

I hope this community can support the Wright House. Their doors have been open to all that show up for help. It would be sad if the City of Alamogordo cannot also support it. I know I will do what I can to show support.

I, too, will do what I can to keep the Wright House open and support more rehab/treatment/half-way houses in our community. They are less costly in terms of money AND human lives than prisons and jails.

They need to hold a fund raiser or 2 throughout the year.
Getting the people who use their services involved with the orginizing and running of an event would be a good way to help in their recovery.

Ken, I have heard you speak before. Your writing is equally moving. Keep talking and keep writing, the money will follow when people realize that what you have to say is the truth.

Please do not close this facility !
This organization has helped my son with his addition.
This is a disease that could affect any one of us
and you never know when You might need help.
With all the unemployment, foreclosures, etc. These problems besides depression could force anyone into rehab/treatment.
