Democrats oppose line-item vetoes only when a Republican is Governor. Double-standard hypocrites!

the story, dummy. This is not an appropriations bill so she doesn't have the power - she had to take the whole bill or veto it. As is her pattern, more grandstanding rather than governing that will will make things worse.

And the legislature couldn't challenge Richardson's use when they wanted to because he was working within the law.

You are exactly right! Democrats supported the line item veto when Richardson used it. Democrats GAVE a Democrat governor line item veto power. Apparently, they never thought a Republican would be governor.
Now that a Republican governor is using the power the Democrats approved, the Democrats are whining like a bunch of babies, so they are suing to try to invalidate the will of the people.
F-you, Democrats, you are the enemy of the people!
the article, you foul-mouthed fool. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Democrats do a lot of kicking, screaming and accusing when the Republicans have at least equal or greater power to them. Poor babies! They find the weaning process from power very difficult to deal with.

I not only READ the article, I comprehended it. Something you liberals are incapable of. And YOU calling ME foul-mouthed? You are the king of foul, you lying ass.

You've proven over and over that you are not only ignorant, for the ignorant can learn, you are stupid...you cannot learn. You bully your way through every conversation with nothing but lies, name calling, and your childish churlishness. You are a lout who knows nothing of U.S. History, you despise our nation, you despise freedom, you despise our constitution, you despise success, you despise greatness, you despise everything that is good.

You are a perfect example of what is the worst thing about freedom: We must tolerate you, because that what we do in America, but we DO NOT have to condone you. You should be taken to the woodshed and soundly whipped, because you are a spoiled child.

Because if you did you'd understand why this suit is able to move forward and you'd drop or specious paritsan argument and off-topic personal attacks and go hide in the corner.

No, not at all, because I am right, and you are wrong. If the court lines up against Governor Martinez, they will be wrong too.

Elections matter. You, and liberals like you, have been rejected. Get used to it. Better yet, quit breathing oxygen that would be better used by real Americans.

a hate-filled dope. Calls himself a "real American" yet he thinks he is above the law and the courts, slanders those who disagree with his egotistical and cliched nonsense and fails to recogize the obvious issue of the separation of powers.

She has overstepped her bounds on several points so far. She is costing this state a hell of a lot in litigation because she does not realize her power is LIMITED. As usual, she will just assume she can do anyhting she wnats and then make the court prov she cant. It has served her wlll in the past.

She is obviously trying to legislate. She should do her job and let the legislature do theirs. That is what a leader does. But then she has never had any experience as a leader. It is so sad to see this at a time when we need leadership the most.
