Shelters open in Terrebonne, Lafourche parishes
With mandatory evacuations issued for areas of Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes outside of hurricane protection, shelters in Raceland and Houma were opened to evacuees this afternoon.

If anyone finds my grandfather Ambrose A. Estay Jr. down there please reply to this post. He decided to stay and ride out the storm. Now, without power, we cannot contact him and we are worried. He lives in Raceland, and for Katrina his house almost flooded so I'm sure this time it would have.

I live in oregon but have good friends in raceland. Ill send them this and see if they will check on him.
