Louisiana Barber Ticketed for Working on Monday

Strange, since nowadays it seems like companies want people to work as much as possible, yet this law is on the books in Houma, La. An obscure law on the books in Houma for decades bars barbers from working Sundays, Mondays, any of several holidays and even the day after Labor Day.

Ok, So a lot of people bash Louisiana, I know its not perfect here and neither is anyplace I have been. Remember, we can alway shut down Port Fourchon and really let the gas prices go up. Seeing as it provides over 60% of all offshore oil field traffic to the Gulf of Mexico.

you can...go to Durham street turn rt on old bainbridge rd. go to 3rd house (trailer) on right...has only a few selections but price is right for SUNDAY

The craziest law I ever heard of was in Maryland. Some guy killed his wife, admitted it, went to court brought up some old law that said if a man found his wife having sex with another man he had to kill her and nothing would happen to him. and he didn't have to prove it. He just had to say it.
