I do my huntin at my Uncle's place in Pike County, Illinois. Any REAL deer hunter knows of the golden triangle where the big boys play. Had some fine deer over the years. I have not yet deer hunted around here because I don't eat deer, and I don't shoot little 4 pointers either. Another thing is that I am yet to see a wild bear in Arkansas. Why does everyone kill them, please don't kill the bears, they do not taste good.

Well Yankee Tom here in Arkansas you have to do a little bit more to get the BIG ONES they are here you just have to know HOW TO HUNT Arkansas and the thing HUNTER was talking about well that is all Bow Huntting no guns allowed a little bit more to it than just pulling a triger. I dont know you and you may be a top notch hunter but the big ones are not always best the better meat is in a younger deer it is tender and if you eat deer meat that is what you want.

Well Sir, I have plenty of Trout to eat from the Wonder of the Spring, and White Rivers. I could never leave Arkansas after catching my first limit. Like I said I don't eat venison because I got very ill when I was young from it. I'll bet you do have cleaner animals here though, seen some mutated bucks up north a few times from that nasty Illinois River basin water they drink, all of Chicago's sewage and waste rolls down river and mutates the fish and animals. By the way I started shooting a bow 20 years ago, just like gunz alot more. Good Day.

We have H.E. Alexander in Highland, and Shiree Bay in Black Rock set up for family style hunting and camping. Haven't heard if there any good yet. Seems they would be down by the river area. I plan on taking my sons there sometime. Good hunting to you and your son.

I used to really enjoy seeing the deer come up into my back yard. I have almost a square city block of land behind me that will never be developed because it has a "wet weather branch" running thru the middle of it and houses can't be built on it. It was a perfect place for deer. I've seen 2 or 3 of them grazing, or just standing next to a tree, and it was really enjoyable. I do like deer meat, but I'm not a hunter. I hated to hear that the POA was going to allow bow hunting in the Village. Now, they've pretty well cleared out all the deer. I haven't seen any in almost a year. I hope they're satisfied, as this was one of the pleasures that came with "living in Paradise!" I realize it became a problem, and I realize it caused a lot of property damage, especially to cars (but also to one woman's house, when a deer crashed thru her picture window into her living room). But they could have peacefully relocated the deer without having to kill them, couldn't they? Or do the people on the POA just think of killing? There are many places in the United States that would welcome deer! They could have "darted" them, peacefully sedating them, then loaded them onto a truck and taken them somewhere else. I have pets, and I feel for the animals! The POA, as usual, didn't ask anybody, as they are ALMIGHTY and they KNOW ALL! If you want to live in Paradise, just make sure who's running Paradise!

All you silly sissy people that have a problem with the deer hunters, and call them REDNECKS, ought to be thankful for them, at least they are keeping the herd numbers down, so I can have a garden. And the deer hunters AKA REDNECKS, will still be able to put food on their tables and feed their children and mom's and dad's when the shit hits the fan and our world falls apart as we know it. Think about it, I would rather have someone that can hunt, skin and cook wildlife with me than some sissy that can only go to the store and shop, where will you be when the store shelfs are empty?????

I know people like to bow hunt, but i think the deer in the Village have thinned out way too much in the past 2 years
