Jehovah Witnesses can not think for themselves, everything has to come from their governing body.
Also check sites on their false prophecies. Bible students, what exactly does it say about people who attempt to make false prophecies that are not breathed of God?
The people who translated their version of the New World Translation only have high school education, & even when their presidents have been asked to translate Greek or Hebrew into English they have found it impossible during court cases, stumping themselves. And they believe their translation is the the most accurate of all of the versions and translations.
Michael the Archangel is not Jesus, and in NWT's John 1:1 they say Jesus is "a god", thats disgusting, how can you say this, & say that Jesus is only a Mighty God in comparison to Almighty God! Your translators really have it coming, because Almighty God is also called Mighty God in the Scriptures, Your translation has so many errors, as agreed by many Greek & Hebrew Scholars who have more than a high school education. Your Watchtower even agrees with Johannes Greber who admits to speaking with the dead aswell as his wife doing the same thing, and he also translated John 1:1 being "a god", makes you think that evil is working closer than you think or know.
For once, have a free mind & not the same mind as your governing body, remember the path is wide, but the gates are narrow!

We come to your door because Mathew 24:14 clearly states that the world will be witnessed to and then the end will come.
this is so when God judges you,..and decides whether he should spare you or destroy you,.. you cannot say you did not know as he can tell you how many times he sent his people to your door and you cussed them ..

we do not take it personally actually feel sorry for you..sorry to be harsh but what is wrong with opening your bible and reading the scriputres for yourself. why not take one free bible study.. It could mean everlasting life on a paradise earth for you and your family.

The Good News of the Bible and the church is that Christ died for each one of our personal sins so that we will not have to die an eternal death.

The building of a Kingdom Hall “quick-build” is impressive, but many Witnesses and outsiders do not realize that this is also makes for clever economics.

Few people except the religious will devote free time to putting up a building, but Witnesses can do it, and since non-baptized helpers are always present, it affords those reluctant to go door-to-door additional opportunities to “get their monthly time in,” as is required to be considered a Jehovah’s Witness.

The local Witnesses benefit, since it cuts the cost of their loan from the Watchtower Society to get the land, and the Watchtower benefits, not only from the publicity but they also now own more property and buildings (No, the local Witnesses will never own it.).

The Watchtower is big money, being one of the top 40 New York City Corporations making nearly one billion dollars a year. That's just from one of their many corporations.

Will they have a food pantry,soup kitchen,or let AA use their building to hold AA meetings like the other charitable Churches do?Does the Watchtower contribute anything back to the community,for their tax free status?

THINK all you readers who have Kingdom Halls in your town,have you ever seen any charity from them?$200 billion in Watchtower corporation worldwide real estate assets.

There are tens of thousands of pages from disgruntled ex-JW's out there in many languages.

When the Watchtower corporate racket is held accountable for their misdeeds they cry religious 'persecution'.

I being a Christian a Follower & Worshiper of Christ, took it upon myself to study with Jehovah's to see what your beliefs are, this went on for many months, once a week, & attended your celebrating the "Annivesary of His death", & here only the remaining chosen 144 000 were able to drink the wine & eat the bread. Jesus said to His Disciples that it must be done in rememberance of Him, not just left for the "selected few".
Also during my studies with Witnesses, it is common knowledge that you learn more from literature passed down from your governing body than the actual Bible. You know my views on the NWT already, I have a copy, & cover it quite frequently with my girlfriend who has studied Greek & Hebrew. There are just so many flaws, I have even found them myself looking through your version of an interlinear.
You speak about the Whore who rides the beast as being of other faiths, you have forgotten to include yourselves in that Prophecy.

Setfree: Good points, but I doubt you'll get a response from him. You probably saw that I sent him a few questions regarding that same post, but didn't get an answer either. Most JW's do not like questions which the WT has not given them their pet answers for. You are right, how can one say they think for themselves, when they are constantly warned AGAINST independent thinking?!- WT 1-15-1983 p. 22 & 27.
