Sheriff of Bossier Parish and his Buddies

How can a Sheriff get a known proven guilty drug head out of prison just because the drug head mom killed herself. Because the family is close friends to Larry Dean. See in Bossier Parish you don't have to be innocent, just friends with the sheriff. Dont believe me ask the owner of EWR Trucking in Plain Dealing it was his son. The mayor of the town just told me some horrible information on how Dean and his friends conduct business. Like Dean getting a pond built with assistance from the government because he is a farmer, the only problem with that is that he isn't a farmer and he had EWR drop some of EWR cows off in his pasture so when the government inspector came by to see his cows in order to okay the pond he wasn't disappointed. Have prisoners work on the farm for free, well maybe not free but he didn't pay for it. This guy has to be removed from office

I don't really see where "who" dug the pond is of any concern. As far as Sheriff Deen allowing an inmate to be SUPERVISED while attending his mothers funeral, this practice is a normal procedure for non violent offenders when there is a death in the immediate family. In regards to the farm information, I have no clue on this. I would ask that your wording be a little more kinder though after all you were speaking about someones wife, mom, sister.

I'ts not just this parish that make up their on laws as they go,Beinville parish is the worst I have ever seen!!! Just because they have the job title "SHERIFF" they think they are above the law....

as for common practice, this is what you said. I feel common practice has no place in the legal field. Common practice would mean eye for an eye. This just isn't so. But you can definetely tell your judgement is bias. I would have no problem if the sheriff wanted to let the convict go to his mom's funeral, but bring him back to jail. Instead he let him go entirely. you just don't know or refuse to see the scum that resides in the office

normal procedure does not equal common practice... please review what i originally said. As far as being biased, again you are incorrect. I don't know the Sheriff nor do I personally care to know him. I was just speaking in regards to prisoners being allowed to attend funerals for immediate family. I have no knowledge of this prisoner being released entirely and again that was not what i was responding too. A matter of fact you never stated in your original post about this prisoner being released entirely, your comment stated that he was allowed out because of his mothers death. You obviously know more about this then I do and all I can say is come election time maybe you can get Jason to run.

I am up for anyone wanting to run against this person. I know 5 Jason's from PD and am not sure I would want any of them in office. As for your other statements you r ill informed. our ignorance runneth over. You should listen and educate your self before you offer your opinion on an issue. You obviously have little knowledge of the going'g on in the area and unfortunately you are joined by a large majority. But I tell you this that the man is a swindler and it runs off of the buddy system. Believe it or not. But eventually it will be brought to surface

oh i have no doubt that the buddy system is well in place in our area. however it is up to the citizens to stand up against it. writing here about it on a forum does nothing to stop the cause. as far as my ignorance, you should also take a look in the mirror before you speak. most everyone has skeletons in their closets and while Mr. Barnett may want to point out everyone elses short comings, he should also remember that he was welcomed and nothing was held against him for the actions of his brother. as a matter of fact his brother was a fine man and was a perfect example of how people can change. get rid of your jerry harris mentality and maybe you might see things more clearly.

the only "opinion" so to speak that I did offer was to ask you to maybe rethink your wording when you spoke of the deceased person because as i stated, she may have had a son that was a criminal however she has other children that are fine and upstanding and she has grandchildren. how would you feel if someone was speaking of your relative so loosely as you spoke of her.

As for grudge, life is to short for grudges. I harbor no ill will towards this family or any other for that matter. I am just looking at it from a none bias perspective. True enuff this family has had their share of grief, but most was a direct result from their actions. The bond the relative is referring to, show the receipt of the bond an I will stand on public square in PD and apologize. Problem is u can't because they do not exist. I am not angry with the richardson clan, my problem lies with Larry Dean an his abuse to office. Fact is I was in a meeting las nite with one of his deputies discussing the ill works happening in that office.
