Public indoctrination... I mean education is a waste of time, money, and most importantly our childrens futures. We throw BILLIONS at public education and we still rank among the worst of industrialized nations in the area. We need a system with teacher who are not beholden to any union or gov't entity. Accredited, knowledgeable teachers who will teach an AMERICAN curriculum. How America came to be, how we developed as a nation, and how and why we have succeded where all others have failed. What makes our gov't unique in the world. The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. How our free market capitalist economy has enabled us to obtain a standard of living 2nd to none. How it has also helped us to promote innovation and technology to advance all mankind. Our healthcare system among the very best in the world. Our national identity and why it needs to be preserved, not watered down. Yes even God, how and why he was and is important to our formation and success as a nation. Our founding fathers thought so. The evils of dictaters, communism, socialism, and facism. Why we need to be responsible with nature and our environment, but not to the point we debilitate and handicap ourselves by depending on questionable, unstable gov'ts that may have policies contrary to ours, for resources we need to produce, grow, and defend ourselves. Educators need to be able to discipline disruptive students without fear of being sued. Parents also need to be proactive in every facet of their childs education and have a say in that education as well and not just a means of funding. All this and more to ensure every CITIZEN'S child gets the American education they deserve.
