H-H teachers shun Quakertown system

To attach anyone's salary to something that someone else does, a child (or TEENAGER) no less, seems a very risky proposition to me.

QCSD teachers are alreasy receiving a bonus if the average combined scores of all classes across all grade levels reach a minimum level. This QCSD bonus system already attaches all teacher's salary bonuses to something that other teachers do.

Some models of "merit pay" attach even a teacher's base salary to student performance. It is "risky" to attach someone's income that, like it or not, they are not 100% in control of.

Are you a taxpayer in the QCSD?
Then you should be aware that the "base pay" of QCSD professional employees is in the top ten for the state of PA.
