I think this sounds cool. I'd be in but, why do you have to purchase a meal to be a Ghost Hunter??
What, you all just trying to get Snappys money or something?? POSERS!

probably have to purchase a meal in order to meet there. i am sure they dont just want a ton of people showing up to meet about something and not spend money...when they could have a place for their customers sit!

There are a lot of people that would be interested in a meeting of the minds but the idea of have to purchase a meal is going to completly turn away a lot of people. Anyone that would be serious. What are the intenions of this group? To do investagations or what?

Has anyone else realized that these people haven't answered our questions? And I don't see a problem with having to purchase a meal but I have not ever eaten at Snappys so I don't have a clue if it's good or not? Is it expensive?

I am one of the co founders of this group that we are starting in Hart County. Our first meeting is to explain what we are about and what we plan to do. The other co founder and I are certified ghost chasers as we took classes with Patty Starr who is the leader of the Ghost Chasers in Lexington. We joined the Louisville Ghost Hunters and also had trainings with them. There will be investigations. The first meeting is to see who all is interested and we will then meet the second Thursday of the month. For the person who ask about changing the day, we can check to see what works for the majority. Investigations will be other days or nights I am sure. Out meetings will be from 6-8. We will discuss places to investigate and we will have trainings. The purchase of meal is just as some of you said. We are using their room at no charge. The purchase of meal is a small price to pay once a month. We are getting out web page together now.

Other than the price of a meal are there any other expenses we should know about if we are seriously considering coming to the meeting?

GET WITH IT, YOU WILL HAVE NO PEOPLE SHOWING UP AND IF THERE IS ANY I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR FORCED FOOD PRICES.. HEY HERES AN IDEA MAYBE YOU COULD CHARGE A 100 DOLLAR MEMBERSHIP INSTEAD.. it's like this I have a family of five and I barely make over min. wage. i would really like to join in, i have a lot of questions and i can bring some very real personal experiencs with me. i use to be somewhat sentive to things around us. i really want to join with you guys, i am very interested in evp work. i have about 13 years of occult and new age thinking under my belt. i really don't have a extra 20 laying around the house. i've never had snappys because we can't afford to eat out a lot. i really wouldn't feel right about buying a meal for myself when my kids cant have any.

We are serious about getting this going.Everyone is welcome. It is not that easy finding a place in the county that will let you have meetings. If anyone has any ideas we are open to that. There is no other expenses unless you chose to buy your own equipment. You really don't have to have any. A tape recorder and a camera works well. Even a small thing such as a compass can be used. Our website is at www.hartcountyparanormalinvestigations.com . We are called "Hauntings from the Hart". It has the phone numbers to reach me (Anita) or co founder (Tonya) or Lisa who is doing the webpage. Barnum, evp work is important. Maybe we can figure out a different meeting place if you can come next month. We can use you.

As for the food at Snappy's I would think that people can go together and get a pizza. I have actually only ate there once and that was at the other location. I had read that they had a meeting room and so it seemed like the logical place to have our meetings. I, nor Tonya or Lisa live in Horse Cave. As for Jacob's Well it is on Concord Church Rd. I am not sure why everything lists it on Raider Hollow. I was there once but only for a few minutes. If anyone has any questions feel free to call Tonya or me. Or ask here. Athough we take it seriously it is entertainment and fun for us and we want to get people together who have a common interest. Skeptics are welcome!!!
