ok here it goes....

There was a woman walking down the street when she passed a pet shop owner with a parrot on his shoulder.

The parrot said "Man, she's ugly"

The woman kept walking, but was upset.

Later that day, she walked past that same pet shop. The parrot said "Man, she's really ugly".

The woman kept walking, but was very upset.

The next day, she was walking again. And again the parrot said "Man, she's really uuuugly".

This time she went up to the owner and told him that if the parrot made a comment like that again she would have him for Thanksgiving instead of a turkey.

Later that day, she went past the shop again.

This time the parrot was silent. She looked at him. He looked at her, nodded, and said "you know".
