AMEN!!! The ppl close KNOW what is going on, but they for some reason turn their heads and don't try to help. Then when the woman gets hurt they say "she's the one who puts up with it" but when its the man hurt, they turn on her and it is STILL her fault somehow because she should have left the marriage (but if he had so much control she couldnt)! How is it that it is always the womans fault if she is abused and if she gets fed up enough to fight back?? Just think of how many years of abuse she put up with!!! I know how it is, because I have lived it! I dont at all agree with murder, but I do see how rage, frustration, fear, etc... can build to the point that it happens.

To those taking the Bible out of context who calim we are not allowed to judge...READ YOUR BIBLE...We are allowed to judge, when the "judgement" we make is a righteous judgement. If someone is doing something against the law (by law, I mean the law Jesus established and went into effect following His death on the cross), we are COMMANDED to go to them and tell them what they are doing is wrong. If they don't listen, we are to take them before the elders of the Church. If that doesn't work, we are to disassociate ourselves from this person.

Like it or not folks...that's the Bible and, unlike our world and our society, it hasn't changed...it's just people changing the way they perceive.

were you in the courtrom? the judge would not let her go free.the bible also says be understanding. so ther is alot to the story than we ever know.

Actually, the Bible does not freely state to be understanding. To some things there are NO udnerstanding, and the Bible does tell you that!

so Shorty believes we should have no prisons, no courts, no police because they all "judge"

the Bible in fact REQUIRES us to judge in certain circumstances "if your eye offends you pluck it out" is a judgment call

in no way shape or form does the Bible require us to let a murderer go free, in fact it REQUIRES us to judge them and if found guilty put them to death

so lets leave the Bible out of this (no matter how much I happen to agree with the idea of putting this woman to death) and deal with the LEGAL aspects
