Every morning between Kelseyville and Lakeport on Hwy 29 drivers are racing to get ahead which is rediculous because everyone ends up at the stop light anyway.

The short on ramp lane is used for a passing lane,(maybe it is a passing lane, don't know) people fly through and put other drivers lives in jepardy. Wish that stretch was covered by CHP, bet it would cease. Was almost run off the road 2x's last week trying to enter Hwy 29. Scary as hell.

If the entering the freeway lanes are NOT passing lanes let's put some signs up stating that please!!

Who is the genious that decided to eliminate the passing lane on 29? I'm really fed up with all the money spent on the roads in this county because the concept of look both ways before crossing the street is to complicated. All you ever hear the whiners say is "everybody needs to slow down". I have to follow people day after day doing 40 in a 55 along the north shore with twelve cars behind them. Do not tell me that "everone needs to slow down".
What we need is for the CHP to do something besides write speeding tickets.

Even if you permanently take away their driver licenses, the hit & run, drunk drivers will just drive without them.

CHP writes fix it tickets too.

and rarely does the chp site anyone for doing faster than 55mph with a trailer. if you want to see speeders go out to scotts valley any time during the day and watch the races. the chp would have ticket writing party out there. probably make their quote in a couple of hours. all i here is there is no safe place for the chp to pull over safely and wait.
