Here is what happened the last time Rodney boasted about his inept task force goon squad, I am sure this will end being the same thing, Mitchell and his boys can give a traffic ticket without blowing it let alone execute a search warrant with out doing it illegally
Moses said on Jan. 29, 2009, under the direction of Sheriff Rodney Mitchell, the Lake County Sheriff's Office raided Alternative Solutions Collective in Clearlake Oaks and the collective grow site in Middletown. He said one volunteer from the grow site and two volunteers from the collective were arrested, which he said resulted in bail costs and legal fees.
"Before the preliminary hearing the DA's Office dismissed all charges against the collective and its members and the judge ordered return of all property and funds seized during what ultimately has been determined as an illegal raid," Moses said. "Now we are negotiating compensation for all property lost to destruction as a result of the illegal raid."
Our Sheriffs officers are doing a great job.

According to Rivero there's no NTF. Obviously the press and the Sheriff's Department are in cahoots because they used the term "NTF". Oh wait, maybe the obvious answer is Rivero doesn't know what he's talking about...Naaaw, couldn't be that.

Thanks for the laugh! No worries, Sheriff Mitchell will win re-election and we won't be subjected to Rivero much longer. Maybe Rivero will have some toast with the egg he is scrapping off his face.

Great job NTF and please keep it up.

People are finding out the extent of Mitchell's opponent's lies.
The LCSO are hard working good people who unanimously support their boss, Sheriff Rod Mitchell.

It will be nice to have all of this san francisico style political trouble behind us.

What's wrong Mitchell, can't even get your praises correct? There is "NO" county NTF. It was LCSO deputies (and great ones at that). You will find no State cop on any arrest sheet, booking form or even a report. Just another Mitchell ploy and a sad one.

according to one of mitchell's biggest supporters Rob Brown, the LCNTF is a letterhead organization that was cobbled together to take credit for other people's busts to create the impression that there really was a full-time concerted effort to track-down drug dealers here, this is what he told me himself several years ago AND DON'T TRY TO DENY IT ROB!

the real question here is this: why is it when the meth business has been consolidated into a handful of big sources at the production end for the most part we don't see more big-time busts? There has to be a distribution network that is large and well-established, not like the old days when people made it in their kitchen, meaning it should be easier to make big busts but we see NOTHING until less than two weeks before the election-that's one big coincidence!.

no rehab in prison means it's not so much punishment they get it's a refresher course in criminality, bad people go in there and come back out even worse-this is how it's supposed to work?

Don't know about that Phil. Had my brother not done at least a couple of years, it wouldn't have been enough time for the 'cling-ons' to drop away as they slowly, one by one did just that. No real rehab - just a good chance to break old ties. Course my brother was a cooker (Willits News, above the fold Nor Cals Largest Cooker Busted), dealers are much more replaceable. This is the basis for my deep seated ire against diverting resources to chasing pot instead of going after cranksters.

This guy got busted for a comparable amount as the guy across the creek who after many years continuing business as usual finally did a few months county. We knew he was out as all the traffic resumed quickly. I know he has real friends - just hope they can keep the cling-ons away.

All politics aside, anytime we can make life even more miserable than it must already be for a crankster/cooker, it's a good thing. Meth is the scourge of a generation. While Chinese students are getting great education, especially engineering, our kids are stumbling out of school to become slaves to crank. Soon they will be slaves to the Chinese.

state prisons have changed in recent years, overcrowded, run by gangs, rehab programs cut-it's a whole new ballgame out there now.

Let's see, the sheriffs office makes their first major meth bust in a very long time just a couple days after busting the son of that woman who is running for city council. You remember him, he's the guy who got out almost instantly even though he had a $250,000 bail. Hmmm, interesting.
