Remember Board of Supervisors, that the same thing can happen to you that happened to many incumbents in the last election...you CAN be voted out! Do NOT be ignorant and short sighted and put money ahead of the right thing to do. The environment falls apart when man thinks more highly of himself than God. Stop turning Ukiah into one giant strip mall. Please...with sugar on top..........

But the right thing to do is to allow more plants because it will reduce the cost due to competition and less truck time to deliver product. The biggest customer of Asphalt is Us - the tax payer.
We drive on paved roads; which is better for the environment than driving on gravel roads.
Lower the cost of asphalt and you stretch our tax dollar further and make our roads safer.

Think people think number one most of these seem to be in the Covelo area, it just won't work too far to truck.
But yes we do need an asphalt plant, are you people going to tell me you don't drive on the roads.
We need to keep business in this county not drive it away. Some of us like to work and believe it is the right thing to do.
KEEP JOBS IN MENDOCINO COUNTY oh thats right we a lots of people goverment help, that are kinda self employed.

So you would prefer that we burn more fuel to truck the rock to the plant and then truck the asphalt the long distance from the Ukiah valley to Covelo…………….LOL
I mean putting an asphalt plant in a quarry keeps tons of carbon out of the atmosphere every day.
Or is the whole global warming scam over now???
Or how about we just do like the old days and collect used motor oil and dump on the roads

yea! move everthing so far out in the stick's even the work would be hard to get to? how far do you have your head up your keaster that you can't even smell the roses? take a look at how far covelo is from hwy 101? and then where will the people stay while they are in covelo? where will the gas trucks go to get there,so manny things are wrong with your train of thought?and if they put a plant in humbolt county it will cost more.also they now forbid tanker truck's to haul fuel north? all fuel into eureka is brought in by barge yes so it will be a win win for the asphalt plants soon.and if you live in ukiah you wont smell the plant up on the ridge unless you have a grow up there somewhere.
