Does anyone know when this call center is set to open?

Looks like it will be here about the same time as the new shopping center on the Blvd. and the fish farm/factory in Crofton!

Of course not. These companies are fleecing small communities like ours. They go to many other places, looking for who will give them the biggest breaks, or free land, or other incentives to come. They promise every one that they are the premiere location if only... they just give a little more. Then they finally move to the place that offers the most free money. That isn't capitalism, it is a shakedown.

Good question don't know maybe there being lazy and don't want to move it. I don't know if what I heard was true so take it for what's it worth.

Of course the fact that our city is not making the local telecoms and internet providers upgrade all over town to appease the ATT monopoly practices doesn't help us get modern jobs when high speed internet access and antique lines put us in the bottom of the barrel in the state. Why would a company whose business requires intense bandwidth and dedicated phone lines come to this copper wire dead zone?

Probably hoping to convince other potential renters that there would be a steady flow of potential customers for them if they lease now? It wouldn't be the first time the property management led someone by the nose to get them to sign to a rental agreement.

I will not comment on your ignorance, but there are more caucasins on welfare and food stamps in this town. Have you looked in the local trailer parks? You might as well get your mind right and realize that those days of old are over! Go hang yourself! The very people you hate may be the ones you'll need later on.

this town needs expansion and economic growth. City government needs to stop spending money on unnecessary things that are not needed and revitalize this town. Its like a graveyard here.

Partially agree with the comments of hoptown being a black hole,(in a none racist way) yes the education is somewhat crappy here and this area attracts some not so lovely ppl. I'm sure the turn over rate is high but that's why its a min wage job. The ones that are able to deal with BS are the ones that move up. But does no one remember when it was pretty much impossible to get a job about 4 or 5 years ago? And everyone in this town getting laid off from factories and what not, would've given anything to have a place like this where you can get a job so quickly! And look bright side, at least they're making use of the "mall" space. Lol.

Looks like mousey and the other idiot were wrong again. TeleTech Is open and running full steam ahead. Ive actually been told that they are planning to bring more clients to the TeleTech In the mall than they expected. Good paying job with benefits and new hires that were hired back In December are getting their shift bid preference along with bonuses.

Yeah I guess I will be "wrong" when one day someone eventually builds something on the dirt over there by MSU and the Bruce Center too. But when it takes years to finally get things that were promised to happen within weeks or months, can you really say that it was a victory that one in ten projects promised to come here actually did and even then it was massively delayed while shopping us down on it's incentives to come here? Congrats! We were the lowest bidder in a loosing war to tax the employees out there and give the money back to the company under the guise of a "break". So how long until this revitalizes that mall as promised?

I have experience with customer service and as much as people complain about the experience, I rather enjoy it myself. If you are not a "people person" then this not a position I would recommend. You will have your occasional people who call with their panties in a bunch, but hey that's what comes with the territory. You just have to remain professional and do what you need to do to resolve the problem...easy...if you can't handle frustration or wear your heart on your sleeve, no need to apply. BTW the remarks above about race pretty much sucks ass. There is laziness and verbal etiquette issues with the American race...we just happen to live in a community that suffers from Teenage pregnancy and a half ass education because of lack of opportunity and things to do. Ever wonder if this could be a positive boost for this failing community? No...bet you didn't

Why is it that alot of the comments that I have read are negative? Instead of focusing on the negative we should be coming together as a community and help people to become successful in whatever job/career they choose and instead of condemning people, especially teens/young adults, we as a community need to start teaching them the correct ways to handles "irrate" customers in a positive manner because not only will this help them become successful in their job they are at now but both future jobs and their everyday lives that do have bad situations occur. Please stop the negative outlooks and help to make the situation better for all rather than making it worse. This is just one humble persons opinion though. Also please if you have any negative or hateful comments to my post feel free to keep it to yourself because I do not wish to listen to anyone's wastefulness of valuable oxygen by using unhelpful ideas/opinions when they could be using it for good of mankind instead of making the situation worse. As Thumper's mother told him in Bambi, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. " Thank you all for reading and have a blessed, progressive and successful day.
