child care assistance
Balance that budget

I see, per the New Era, that the Health Dept. is going to donate $100,000 to pave the rail line, down town no less. Now I see in the same paper that child care assistance is going to be stopped after July for any new applicants and cut in half for the rest of us. Not to mention they are redistricting the schools.

Why doesn't that health dept. put that money in a NEW fund for day care (what we need is night care, since we are a town of restaurants)

The best senerio that can come from this is that I pay full price for my day care but then I have to go back on food stamps and then I don't think I have enough after my tax return to get gas for heat and to cook, because the only alternative for me is Propane, purchased by the gallon. So now I need fuel assistance!! Day care is more the $200.00 a month for 2 kids. If you work in Hopk. and you are restaurant, that is your weeks pay.

I don't want to go back on food stamps, I sure as hell don't want fuel asst. and I have tried never to be on total welfare,,,,, But if I can balance little moneys, you need to control all that income you are evedently squandering.
