I think they feel like the cops here... Above the law... Speeding.... Reckless... No concern for safety at all.

If u don't like how they do their Job take ur kids off the bus and take them to school. It's a privilege to ride a bus not a choice. So quit fussing about it or deal with it. what they have to deal with on a daily bases half the kids wouldn't be riding a bus.

I am proud to be a bus driver in Christian County! I'm accident free and have been since I hired on three years ago. All of my reviews have been great and I get compliments from most of my parents. All of my fellow drivers aren't as bad as what people say! There are some that neglect to follow all the rules and regulations of the road, but don't label all of us that way. Until you've sat behind the wheel of a Christian County bus, you just don't know what we deal with on a daily basis. I know that we don't have the hardest job out there, but it's very strenuous at times. I don't know how many times I've dealt with an irate parent who swears their child is an angel at home. If you could only look at the camera footage from some of the buses in our fleet, you'd understand why some of the drivers are the way they are! It's quite frustrating to be driving a fourty foot bus down the highway with 70 to 80 screaming kids sitting behind you! Some think they're above the rules, refusing to stay seated, or even think they can put their hands on some of the other students. I love my job and I take it very seriously! I'm always open to discussion on my driving ability and my job performance. We are always in the need of new drivers, so I welcome anyone that thinks they can drive a bus to apply with the Board of Education. Drive for a while and see firsthand what a Bus Driver goes through on a daily basis, then cast judgement. I promise you that it's not all wine and roses, but you'll definitely grow to love the kids and make a whole lot of new friends!

Say what you want about bus drivers! You don't really know until you set in their seat! They probably have more patients than most anyone! Try taking care of 70 plus kids at one time, then your comment might count!!!!

i have a child at hms and i transport my child to and from school because of what i see everyday!! i dont know who drives bus number 205 in christian county but whoever it is needs to give it up. i think its sad that a bus feels the need to take up both lanes of a street so no one else can go down that road, thats ridiculous!!! and also i have seen and heard some of the bus monitors yelling at the kids from inside my house. is that really necessary? if kids get on your nerves i suggest finding a new profession.i would pesonally not want their job either because some of the kids they have to deal with are beyond horrible, but as one post said they chose the job, so therefore they need to do it to the best of their abbilities not half-assed!!!

So learn how to drive or get a different job.

Bus drivers have a huge responsibility of the safety of your children! With this being said MAKE YOUR CHILD BEHAVE ON THE BUS! You wanna complain about how the driver is driving but don't wanna hear anything when they tell you they had to keep watching your child in the mirror because he's jumping over seats and hitting other kids. It starts at home people! Furthermore, I believe with all my heart there needs to be a monitor on every bus. The driver can consintrate on driving and not trying to figure out who threw what! I give them credit! You don't know the daily battles until you have sat in that seat!!!

Have you ever drove a bus?? I dont think you have!! And you prolly hadn't noticed, in your car, how small the streets are and how hard the turns are in a bus. If you had any traing you would know that you have to set the bus up for turns. Which means if you have to take over the other lane to make a sharp turn, then you do it. You do it cautiously, not carelessly. I am a supporter of the drivers, not of people that don't know what they're talking about!!!
