You cannot be arrested for defamation. It is a matter of tort law and would be a civil case if one can prove damage to their reputation.
I knew I was going to have to tell you people this again soon.

In Hopkinsville, if they want to get you for talking on Topix, it will come by way of "Obstruction Of Justice"... Its happened in the past and certainly is an ongoing thing. Obstruction charges are handed out daily by HPD. In this town, with this mayor, and this police chief, they will do whatever they please. Last year, Kentucky passed the legislation making misdemeanor offenses only arrestable if the perpetrator wasn't likely to show up in court. To this day, HPD arrests on all charges, with the exclusion being citations.
