I watch it and all I saw was an agitator trying to provoke a police officer who has every right to question the individual.

Hopkinsville police have profiled people for years, if it looks like you have a lil money they leave you alone if it looks like you are poor they want to keep on your ass . 100% truth, and they know it.

I watched the video, the cop should have given the badge number, but they were right in stopping and asking what he was doing. As far as harassment goes that wasnt ish, I have had friends followed and damn near arrested because of who his brother is, trying to entrap me telling.me they know I did something I didnt do and that was a detective.

The person shooting this video was simply looking to harrass the HPD. In fact, this person give real concerned citizens a bad name. The HPD officers conducted themselves great. The video person is an idiot and moran.

It seems like the individual filming the video was doing the harassing!!!!Some people are just fascinated with causing trouble just because they feel the urge to test a persons ability to know the law.If you are that consumed with trying to dictate a person of authority why not go to school and become a lawyer and make it out of a career.Oh yea but first go trim that hamster off your face it looks absurd!!!!!!!

What does having a beard have to do with anything. The guy in the video has a college degree. Lastly why didn't the cops just arrest him? Bc they knew they were wrong to stop him and thought going to court to and telling a judge what they did would only make it worse. Ps the guy tried many times to leave he ask to leave and clearly did not want to be there. But no the cops lied made up laws and tried to lie about a terry stop,

If the cops see you acting wierd around a public place taking pictures they can stop and ask what you are doing, he wasnt gonna be detained, he was being overly sensitive, if he didnt.argue just to argue the process would have taken five seconds. this guy was acting like was being raped, they just wanted to know what he was doing. people are desperate to catch cops abusing or harassing them and its pathetic. if this guy really want to fight for rights go to china or north korea, where human rights are really being violated.

This video is just silly to me. He is clearly just looking for attention!!!! If that wasn't the case, then he wouldn't have had the video camera ready and recording at the word hi. He didn't get hurt, no damage was done, nothing out of the way was even said to him. The cop just started talking and the man started being a jerk, so he made himself look suspicious. I know that all cops are not good ones but there are some good ones and we sure don't need anyone thinking cops are all bad. What would the world be like without law enforcement to help control all of the craziness in this world today??

The local police have enough on their hands to worry about then worrying about some terrorist looking guy always wanting to make something out of nothing!!!And yes I viewed the first video at the station and he clearly stated himself that he was stopped for 7 or 8 minutes!!!Now usually it takes longer than that just for an officer to pull you over and actually approach your vehicle to ask for identification. So something doesnt sound right from the beginning!!!!

What a shame that freedom is so disposable and cheap to people now that they see nothing wrong with telling a person they cannot take a public photo of a public building. That people find it normal to accept law enforcement ignoring your liberties is actually more frightening than the actual loss.

For your uninformed mind, police don't have the right to detain or question with out probable cause. In this case they are trying to intimidate a tax paying citizen for no reason, they have the big head complex in the little town of hopkinsville. They have nothing better to do like harass a drug dealer or two, instead of someone with a beard. At least he had all of his teeth. I wonder if the big time cops did?

Hey dummy he was walking out of the employment office and trying to check his email and block the sun. and all the big time cops seen was a guy with a nice long beard and thought...WoW here is our chance to get on the chiefs good side and get their five seconds in the spot light. And it didn't work, they didn't even get his ID and ended up looking like idiots. So know the story before you engaged your tiny brain and make a fool of yourself. You must be a cop with your way of thinking and jumping to conclusions. Cops are not lawyers, and need to treat people like they would like to be treated. No wonder they get such a bad rap.
