Another win for the county. It was an ugly game in fielding and out fielding was horrific, lucky for them Webster feel apart like a Lego village in an earthquake. The next few games will be a disaster if not handled differently.

The Colonels Baseball is slowly discenegrating. As the team and fans watch there is nothing that they can do about do it the lack of talent and effort of the team.

Can't say it is a lack of effort this year. Now, it is pretty obvious that some of their older players don't have the baseball knowledge that they should have at this point in their careers. By them end of the year they should be ine! Good things come to those who work hard so I would expect good things for this team!

Here's a thought, why don't you quit throwing shit and yelling and do some coaching? I'm not buying that the older kids don't know how to play. Sounds like an excuse to me to blame on someone else.

High school sports in public schools run in cycles. You don't recruit and lie completely at the mercy of whatever batch of kids the genetic misfits in Christian County produce. Sometimes, and for a short time, you get shithouse lucky and wind up with some players. Other times, you wind up with entitlement driven horseshit. If the same dozen or so families continually provided you with raw material to mould, all would be fine, but that's just not how it works, and in the end you coach the team you have, not the one you wish you had.

Bitch at the Cards, the Braves or whichever professional sports franchise you choose and stop living vicariously through your children. Your win-at-all-cost attitudes drives the fun and passion completely out of what should be a god damned game.

They have talent and plenty of it especially in their upperclassman. The coach just needs to get them on the field and leave them there by mid season county will be unstoppable if this happens if not then they will have another bad season. Some people like to kiss up to the coach to get their babies more play time and I can see them trying really hard it's almost funny to watch. They are the same ones that cost the last coach his job by playing the favors game.

The 1st game showed that he was going to play talent. Yesterdays game, not so much. Seems like alot happened between wed and fri. I guess buying those new mowers worked after all.

I was told the booster club bought the lawn mower for the raffle. What happened Friday besides another W? Colonels have a 2-0 start, do the parents not like that? I heard a few of the kids were removed for making errors, I see nothing wrong with that!! Go Colonels!!!

The wins are nice but these teams are not even a mid level team they are near the bottom of the list. Trigg is by far the better of the two. As for the infield it seems a little watered down in both games especially the second game. The outfield is lacking speed in a bad way. The lineups have not really produced anything errors by the other team saved them last game and that will not happen with a half way solid team.

This is why Webster beat Trigg on saturday. No they are not real talented but they are winning and thats more than the past right now. Had a senior not even at the game on friday night also.

The trigg loss was a total fluke. If played ten more times trigg would have all the wins. That's us what you call a 1 out of 10 win. But that's what makes baseball so unpredictable and fun.

I believe any win is a good win. Wins build confidence. Confidence helps win games. I know the group that played travel ball are winners. The youth on the team have a couple of good seniors to help lead them and some very talented young men. If the coach can get the bats going, they will be a much better team. They have some pretty good sluggers in that young bunch that need to start producing and they will definitely give the team up north a good game instead of a cake walk. I don't know the boys names, if any one does please post numbers along with names. Does the boosters not do some sort of a program?

The youth of this team didn't win anything in travel ball (daddy ball) that mattered to anyone. Hell all these boys young and old have and some do still play travel ball and win tournaments thats nothing special this is just a ploy to try and say your younger boys are the best and its no use to try and out them. What a joke you are I have been around your type and this game way way to long for these foolish thoughts. Go play that to some idiots that don't know the sport. The schedule is going to get alittle tougher and then the true weaknesses will be exposed. Then what excuses are you going to have. And by the way since your such an innocent but serious follower of baseball and cchs im sure you must have heard of Websites that have name and number info. And by the way confidence is great to have but it don't win games mature players and good coaches win games like Clarksville and the games to follow.

what a joke!!!! learn that experience and talent win games. maturity comes from game experience. I said the young players are winners, always have been, always will be. they have the maturity, game maturity!! no you've never been around my type because I would have told you that your an idiot. if you know anyone that has said that to you, you probably know who I am.
