Hi, I worked at the hospital from 1998 to 2003 in the switchboard. My shift was mostly late evening and night shift and was located in the admin. bldg. first floor lobby. Let me tell you... The place starts becoming active with the strange and scary around 2am. I would see things move past the window in our office door all the time. The door lead out into the admin hallway and this area no employee except switchboard and security staff are allowed access so, working nightshift I was mostly in the immediate area alone. I would also hear sounds which I thought to be the xerox machine actually copying something and it would freak me out that I have to ask a security officer to come and give me a break to gather my thoughts. Like Yikes! This xerox was located in the adminstration copy room further down the admin hallway behind a gate and directly behind the admin reception desk, this area was locked I did not have a key to get beyond the portable gate to check it out. This along with things moving past my office door which I saw out the corner of my eyes happened around 2am all the time. The hospital has not only the history of patients there that could haunt it's ground but also the civil war battles involving soldiers and native indians who killed each other back in the day and those spirits walk the grounds as well. Just alot of souls who are going to do their thing until who knows when. It's the grounds which are huanted the spirits just go where ever. I wish a paranormal group could get permission to investigate the parts of the hospital where patients have no access to attempt at documenting the activity but, it would violate hospital privacy policies and with that said the administration/ceo and information officer would deny such request. Maybe someday.

My Bible teach when you are dead you are dead. All this stuff about haunted house etc is hog wash and people with vivid imagination. This is the reason why people get ripped off by physics and people talking to the dead playing off people grief, and ability to deal with death. A lack of spiritual knowledge is a recipe for this kind of behavior.

I worked there for awhile and I was cleaning down in the basement area of the hospital anyway I was mopping and someone or something came behind me and pushed me I turned around and no one was there. A PA that was working seen it so I know I'm not nuts lol but I can say I have had few incidents happen there!! I believe it's haunted in all parts of the main hospital but the spiral staircase going from the bottom up to the top now my hair always stood up when I would sweep the stairwell felt like I was being watched!!!

Anyone know a chick that works 2nd shift named Summer? Last name starts with "S" I do believe. She looks like she's about 19 or 20, dresses kinda punkish, really cute.

Wow, Ive never heard of physics ripping people off. lol The staircase Is supposedly very haunted. My ex and her mother worked there and I heard several stories about that staircase. Supposedly back In the day It was where a patient attacked a couple of nurses and killed one of them.

I am a former employee of WSNF (the nursing home on the grounds) I have only been in the main building a few times and once my training was over I refused to enter it again. The energy that place gives off is horriable and I could feel the negative entities watching me. As for the Nursing Facility that place is haunted as well. On the third floor in the storage area I was attacked by an evil entity and I could always hear them. When one of the wards was shut down for remodeling i could still hear peole on that floor and alarms going off. Also I have seen multiple entities in that building. I am what is called a sensitive i suppose. i have seen spirits my whole life, but in that place I was scared. i will never enter those building again. i worry something will attach itself to me and ruin my life. I only lasted a few weeks before I left.

I have been working at WSH for many years on 11-7. Of course there are going to be sightings of unsettled spirits the place is over 100 years old.It is not scary to work. Minor experiences in my case nothing serious for a scary movie. It is true that HIPAA prevents any filming on the grounds, because it is occupied by residents.

You're full of shit. It's quite funny that there is only a select few who have had those "experiences". Coincidence? I think so. It's funny how ghost only appear to a select few isn't it? Show me the bite marks.:D

Better not be taking pictures or you won't have a job. I hear some of the RNs out there like to flirt with the PAs. Wanna talk about that? Seams more like reality to me.
