She was ejected for cursing at an umpire. It is absolutely pathetic that a police officer will act that way in front of kids. I don't know her name but I would think she should be reprimanded for her absurd behavior.

Was anyone ther to video it? Maybe even antagonize her further? Then come on here, and make rediculous claims.

What did she look like? Not many females work there. Shouldn't be hard to figure out!

Someone told me she didn't do anymore than the average parent. The umpire was just upset because she questioned his calls alot. The word out is there are only about three legit umpires in that league anyway. One on the girls, the black Guy and the older Guy that wears red.

Who gives a fuck.it was a game she got upset used some choice words and got ejected. Isn't one person can point the finger.yes it was wrong for her to curse at a sport official but he was probably a dick and deserved it.at the end of the day it was just a sporting event and shouldn't be a big thing.

I was there, and she did not do like the average parent. She cursed at the umpire when he did not allow the batter to advance to second after being hit by a pitch (which is the right call, when a batter is hit by a pitch he receives first base and must stay there until the next pitch is thrown because it is a dead ball situation). The kind of language she used is not and should not be tolerated around kids that age, it is an automatic ejection.

I don't know about the local leagues, but in most ball leagues advancing after being hit is perfectly legit if the fielders aren't paying attention.

There is no leading off in that age group, so in a dead ball situation like that the runners must stay in place until the next pitch crosses the plate.

Both officials from that game have been there for years and called for all oft kids at some point and are both legit.

She was asked to leave and she did so without any hesitation, I have been around the sport for a long time and believe me she was kind compared to some of the things that I have heard parents say. I think the umpires handled the situation professionally as well as the parent for leaving when asked. We all know how emotions can take over at sporting events so we should all just laugh about this and move on.

look in baseball people dont have a right use profanity in public but they do to cheer for their team, to question calls and to question coaches and desicions made thats part of the game. all said and done these are our children so watch your bounds. coaches /umps need to stop wearing their heart on their sleeves you made a mistake suck it up like a big boy now and stop crying and making punk threats before you get your feelings hurt. and this goes for all levels area wide.

As a parent at a game your job Isnt to argue with the umpire. The ump made the correct call that most anyone knowing anything about baseball would know. I applaud umps or refs who set examples like that. Your job as a parent Is to cheer and root for your child and their team. If you want to be an umpire then go learn the rulebook and apply to be an umpire.
