Ky. man accused of raping student

A Todd County, Ky., high school social studies teacher has been charged with having sex with a female student.

I never had any classes with Mr. Drummond personally, but I do remember several rumors circulating about his inappropriate relationships with female students (especially those involved in sports). As sad as it is, there were a few teachers at Todd County Middle and Todd Central who did not know where the line was in relationships with students and some who almost fed off of the attention they recieved from these teenage girls.

I don't know if the teacher/coach is guilty or not. All I am saying is it is sad that all a student has to do is 'claim' a teacher touched her or said something to her or did something to her and the teacher is already guilty in the minds of lots and lots of people.

Again, I don't know if he is guilty or not, but his life will never be the same regardless.

This maybe why we can't find good teachers. If a teacher pisses off a student they can make any allegation they want against that teacher and ruin that teacher's life.

You should tell someone in authority about those rumors so that they can look into them and determine if they are indeed rumors or truth. If in fact Mr. Drummond is guilty then the behavior needs to stop. You could help stop that.

People spread them types of rumors for attention. And then later the right people will find out that it was a bunch of lies. People like that make it harder for people that it has really happened to them to come out.

well, he was one of my teachers over ten years ago, and he was awfully flirty then with some of my friends. he was always making inappropriate comments about his wife and other female students.

the "student" that came out with this was my cousin yes this did happen and yea it is true.. it is not alright for teachers to be this way wit students under any circumstances..

I'm not saying this did or didn't happen. I don't know either person involved. I do know since the beginning of time, there have been crushes on teachers, students,best friend's brothers and sisters. I do know that some times those feelings are not returned, causing the other person to get hurt feelings and that is a recipe for disaster. With the RAPE SHIELD law in Ky, the whole truth may never come out,therefore, DESTROYING someones life if they are innocent. All I can hope for is there is plenty of evidence to either prove or disprove. If not more little girls and boys may have to grow up without their daddy. Thank you KENTUCKY for your unfair laws.

Ever wonder why Mr. Bruce Voth is no longer at the High School? He got demoted to the vice principal at South Todd cause he tried to cover it up. I think he has a soft spot for pedophiles. Ask him and he'll tell you a different story but I and a select few others know the truth.
