Since Mayor's job description and City Administrative Officer's job description are virtually the same, then why should Hopkinsville fill both these positions? One or the other of these positions should be eliminated and help cut down on this out of control government spending. What do you think?

we have a mayor that is not qualified to do the mayors job. He can't do his own job let alone both. I agree it could be done. If you have a mayor that is qualified. I ask what this mayor has done for the city???? Other than building a monument to himself. Tell me how building an 8 million dollar city building only so we can redo the building we have now for 2and 1/2 million dollars for a new police dept. They don't care about the citizens accept to pay taxes.
