This program is filled with nothing but drama and whiney parents that have destroyed this program.

They forced Marks out early because he cussed and wasn't playing certain younger players so a group of parents get Greg in.

Greg Perry sets school records for wins and another group of parents don't like him for his personal issues and him not playing certain younger players and that group gets him out.

They then bring in the embarrassment of the century, Harrell, who has an affair with the mother of the player that got Greg fired. But at the same time they had the two best seasons in school history. But he needed to go...

Now with Coach G they win a district title and now are having a bad year. Also he is doing some embarrassing things too. Now the parents want him out....

The parents administrators and supporters need to take a hard look at the situation. This program has had is most successful period the last 3-5 years but yet there has been nothing but shame and embarrassment brought to the program.

No consistency of leadership. That's where the gap in age of talent is... This program has no direction.

Something needs to change, because all this drama has built up and now you see the results of this season.

This program needs a culture change and a BIG ONE

Embarrassing is a coach with no respect for his players, parents and boosters.
He has lied to everyone about everything. He has spent all of the boosters money without even asking. He has tried to keep some of the purchases from the AD. He has spent school money without permission that the AD covered up. He has the worst record in school history. He quits competing in the middle of games. He is degrading to the players. Not to mention all the stuff he has given away for free without permission from the boosters or school.

There will be a good coach at Hoptown in just a few years. A kid I know is going to college to be a teacher and a coach and is already getting college players to help him when he becomes coach. He knows the game and is looking into the little kids at ruff park and travel ball. There program WILL have a good coach in about 4 years!

I believe someone has already beat the kid to the punch as far as looking at the younger players at Ruff Park and travel ball. I've seen the former Colonel coach out there watching games and writing down names of players. May not be anything but that's what I've seen.

This group of parents at Hoptown now should have spent more time working and practicing with their boys rather than trying to bribe, beg and suck up to each new coach that came along for middle schooler's playtime. It all boils down in the end. Who can play ball and who can't. Coaching is very important, but if a kid actually knows the game, a mediocre or bad coach can't change their talent. Brown nosing took front seat several years ago. Hard work and practice fell to the wayside and it is definitely showing now!

Say what you want about brown nosing, but you need to be thankful that you have parents willing to help the team. Without them, you cannot field a competitive team and travel to all of the different games. Heck, school won't even provide a bus many times.

Thank goodness for people that work for the good of the team .

Don't try and imply brown nosing as working for the betterment of the team !

The number of people wishing to volunteer is shrinking due to the head coach and his inability to get along with people.

I don't consider either one of them "coaches" they are both pathetic. and yes the # of volunteers is falling to an all time low because of these two. There needs to be a change and a change real fast or there will be no volunteers for the good of the team. The ones who do all the volunteering are sick and tired of all the crap. Not a good year for this to be happening since the Hoppers are coming to Tiger field.

I see the Hopper games being a little trouble for the Tigers as many of the parents are not going to help because of these coaches. Looks like there will be about five or six working the Hopper games this year. Good Luck with that coaches.

HHS Baseball program is a train wreck waiting to happen. Got some wheels off the track and looking to derail very soon unless this coach is removed.
He has created more problems since his arrival than any other coach.
