Pita is the bread you use when you eat horse meat. P.E.T.A. Doesn't want you to eat any meat!

Yes they did, but they were running the hell out of them, to get the mail, etc through as quickly as possible.

These horses are pulling a wagon on a solid road, relatively light work compared to plowing, discing and other field work that horses used to be widely used for.

This is not abuse, just normal, fairly light work. work

How about that solid road being 3000 miles of ashpalt and concrete with thousands of road rage idiots they are exposed to in the "light work" they are doing?

I have seen these animals after having to pull this wagon with 3 people, camp gear, and totes full of food and clothes. They are hot and tired and I am suprised that one hasn't dropped dead yet. This little trip is all for attention and the outcome he is hoping for is a get rich quick sceme. They was wanting to be there in 4 months. They left on May 25 and ain't out of Ky yet. At that rate it will take them 4 years. I don't think the mules or horse will last that long, hell the cat already ran off.

it seems these fruitcakes want attention without any thought to mistreating the animals maybe they should pull the wagon and let the horses ride it would getr them more attention

Not defending them or anything, but they are not cousins. They are not kin in any way. I think it is all for attention and they are hoping it is a get rich sceme.

We rolled into LaMesa Texas on Friday May 13th what a great place to spend the weekend. We were welcomed by what seemed to be the entire town. All thru the weekend we had visitors at the wagon. Our horses and mules were petted by so many kids they may have tender noses today.I am going to publish new stories to the website later tonight. Life is great
