1 SO TRY IT ON FIRST! Is that so hard? You're unemployed that means you make some sacrifices. Just think how much you would save if you tried clothes on yourself and therefore didn't need a stylist? And why do you need the absolute newest fashion? Have some classics in your wardrobe that never really go out of style. What world do these people live on? |

And the guys can wear the same traditional dark suit and get away with it.

1 If you are doing freelance work, and you need your looks to get jobs, you aren't very good at your job. |

1 Of course, when I was hiring people I placed a lot of value into the firmness of their handshake and whether they looked me in the eye, but that could be considered superficial too I guess. |

fired and furloughed are not the same thing. for one thing, the employer is not responsible for paying unemployment benefits when they furlough someone because they have the right to do that to a consultant - and in some cases, employee.

2 Sure appearances matter...the Western Suburbs of the Twin Cities have enough wealthy, inept people to support fashion stylists. Up North they just tell us to scrape the crap off our shoes...we don't pay for that kind of advice! |

1 Yes, Doctor Lippenheimer, you have me. However I must advise that you still must fill out the required paperwork. There's a small handling fee, but in light of your recent losses in those malpractice suits, I'll ask Attorney General Holder to waive the fee. By the way ,your nurse sure is a cutie. |

1 Fired is usually associated with doing something wrong...implying that the employee had job performance problems. Lighten up! In this economy, "furlough" is a softer, more gentle description of what is going on...cutbacks! |
