Hey Steve -

Good luck with your campaign, but what is your plan to cut spending? With decreasing tax revenues and no to little growth are you thinking you are going to increase taxes on the productive people who are paying into the system?

I think it is time to go to the education system and ask them for sacrifices.

Steve Kelley will do the same as the rest: Tax & Spend! The Education system in this State, is broken, and No amount of Money will save it!
There are over 80,000 retired teachers & staff living off Tax payers in this State, With benefits of $4000.00 to $7000.00+ per month under the Union contract the State should have never signed! The Education system also has the problem of Accountability. There is no real stable managment system in place, to oversee spending with in the schools. We have Superintendents that jump from district to district for Bigger and Bigger wages and benefit packages, with No One really Accountable. Home owners are just ATMs to Education Minnesota!

this ridiculous article just goes to show you that there is not a democrat , no matter how unelectable, that salisbury will not waste ink on. He ignores and independents or republicans to spread the drivel that the dems continue to spread. no where in there article does he question the fact that this state spends more per student yet gets less in results than the rest of the country. the dems solution to the problem>>>>more money. Fire the unions and get results

Provide education to students BEFORE their birth? Unreal! Just what does he expect the role of the parents is?

Wow, Mr. Kelley has an impressive agenda all fair-minded voters should consider. He's right about how to address the crisis in funding for public education, and turning to a green economy is the wave of the future. The only disappointment is his unwillingness to spend for a new Vikings stadium; the state needs to fund critical infrastructure to provide and retain jobs. Mr. Kelley has the most hopeful agenda of any of the candidates so far.

Someday you will move out of your mothers basement, get a job and pay Taxs! Then we will see if that Vikings stadium idea is so grand. Its not the Governments duty to create Jobs, the Free market will Create Jobs when the Government gets out of the way!
