Eagle Ridge has had it's downfalls the past year, and people are blaming on the new students. Please, you guys, you know better than that. The school is meant to attract new students and keep the old ones, so please keep your disrecptful comments to yourself. Now, about the whole principal issue: Mrs. Ingison has done everything she can. I don't agree 100% with what everyone's doing, but she's benefited the school in many ways.

Dear New Parent,
I've been attending Eagle Ridge Academy (ERA) for 2 years now, and I can ASSURE you that everything has been taken care of. Here are the most recent moves of action the school has taken:
1. Fired Josh Garvin (what all the commotion is about)
2. DID NOT renew Judi Ingison (principal)'s contract. That means she won't be returning the 08-09 school year.
As I said before, you have nothing to worry about...your child is in safe hands...
I have made so many great friends and bonds with teachers at ERA that it's almost hard to believe. I love ALL the teachers---EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!! and I am sure your child will too!
Hope this has helped! Comment back if you have any more questions reguarding the school, staff, teachers, alumni, or anything else...!
Thank you, A 2-year student attending ERA P.s. As if you haven't already noticed, I'm going back next year!

the school is doing fine. if you keep worrying, it will be for no good. the school has had its downfalls, but everything is well together thanks to the help from our dean of students, mrs. erin johnson. contact her with questions, don't just comment insignificant complaints. please.

I really think this is pretty bizarre. First of all, the school hasn't given us basically ANY input towards this critical matter. It's actually starting to scare a lot of people including students, parents, staff, even the city of Eden Prairie!!! It's very chaotic and it shouldn't have to have this much drama! Next year, though, it will be very different because of a lot of reasons:
1. Reid (high school biology) 2. Judi Ingison (principal) 3. Diedra Erb (middle school latin) 4. Josh Garvin (high school latin) 5. Kent King (middle/high school mathematics)*
*= did not effect the mercury spill
This is a list of all the teachers who aren't coming back...maybe things will change...but I am very disappointed with the school's administration and staff. They'd better do better this year (2009), otherwise in the future they're going to lose a lot of alumni...

Don't blame charter schools. I am thoughly thilled with the education I am receiving at my charter school. There are so many advantages of a charter school over the school district schools i.e., smaller class size, more parent involvement, and classes geared for accademics. Intolerance is not allowed, like in the Minneapolis school district where the school and class sizes are too large to control. Thugs rule those schools. I would be lost if I were still there. I am going to be someone important one day. Something that would not happened if my mom didn't get me out of Minneapolis and into a charter school. Dotty
