I have visited the Good Look Ink Office and the owner's head is blue. He says he had the procedure two years ago. I noticed some of the dots on the young consultant's head are beginning to appear blue as well. He had his done within this last year. The proof was in the pudding and I practically ran from that business and never looked back.

Yeah, man, I heard about blue too at this place. I will go someplace else. CTHR? It really stands for COSMETIC TATTOO HAIR RIPOFF. They better just give up and stop wrecking men's heads.

Amen brother! Worst part is they know wut they're doing to people. Wonder how they sleep at night. I met that guy Darrin and immediately detected that "full of bull" vibe. What a sleazy fellow he is! They will be out of business soon

Im going to have the procedure done next week but I'm a little scared of their turning blue. Is that true? I'm traveling from out If state and I don't want to keep coming back. Is it worth taking the trip to GLI

Our BBB page is closed as we are responding to a complaint from one individual. The closing of the page is standard BBB process and is completely out of our control. However, we expect the entire thread of responses to be publicly available on our BBB page very soon.

The feedback we are looking for is not regarding our procedure. The technology and process used for CTHR is second-to-none. Our procedure is extremely well-refined, and it was refined for years before coming to market. Yet we will absolutely never stop innovating and improving our procedure in an effort to better serve our clients.

The feedback we ARE looking for is how we reach those with questions about SMP. We want to answer the questions and address the concerns of those considering SMP. There are millions of men and women who could find what we call "hair peace" through SMP. A primary focus of our mission is to educate the world on SMP, regardless of who the hair loss sufferer chooses for the procedure.

Thanks for posting your question Joey. This is a common concern about SMP.

We have isolated the component which can occasionally cause the illusion of a bluing effect.

The bluing effect from SMP is not actually from the pigment itself, but from an enzyme in the skin (which people have in varying degrees). We have solved this issue by creating pigments with an additive which is non-reactive in the skin, even in people who have greater amounts of this enzyme. This additive creates an environment called "non-competitive inhibition" which prevents this reaction.

We have solutions and are very willing to help any persons who have received SMP and are experiencing this reaction, regardless of where their pigmentation procedure was performed.

If you have any further questions we are more than happy to help.

hey guys, my names Nate and you can find my video on the GLI website.

I have to say my procedure has only looked 1000 times better then when i first got it. in the video you can see how red it can be after the procedure but once everything settles down its amazing. i also had a HT scar done. I will say that now after 2 procedures on it and some helpful tips from their staff on how to improve the scar condition, it looks better then ever. I am really pleased with their services and cant wait to go back for my final enhancement! il answer any questions if you guys got them!

Hello, my dad has been looking into the site and is very interested. After looking at these reviews I am very skeptical and I do not want my dad to regret it or him looking like a fool?

Hi Lily,

Thanks for your interest in Good Look Ink. I highly encourage you to look at our testimonials page ( http://goodlookink.com/testimonials ) and image gallery ( http://goodlookink.com/the-gallery ) to judge the results for yourself.

I understand your concerns based on reviews from a couple individuals in this thread. Regretfully, we cannot please everyone. But we always do everything within our power to do so and have hundreds of very satisfied clients.

Are there specific concerns or questions you have about the procedure?

As a prospective client, you have the opportunity to go through our before and after photo-book. You can also see what CTHR looks like up close on many members of our staff.

GLI consultants are available to answer any questions and qualify your dad as a candidate. If he is interested, it's worth talking with someone at our office to see whether or not CTHR is a good fit, understand the procedure and risks, and meet with the team in person.

I would not hesitate to recommend GLI like Nate above I have also done a GLI Video.
I also went there on 28 December for a touch up which I have to say I am very
Pleased with. It is normal to be sceptical I was at first but I spoke to Marshall the Owner who
Put my concerns to rest,Like I mentioned in my video the pictures on GLI website do their
Procedure a disservice it is only when you see it for your own eyes you will know
You have made the right decision. The problem with these forums are whenever someone
Sings their praises human nature takes over - what's his angle ? he must work for GLI Etc..
Well I do not work for them just an honest guy who wants to help, no more no less.
My life has improved since having this procedure they should re name them
Good luck ink - just joking Thanks once again Amanda and Marshall I am sure this is going to be a very busy year for you !!

No problem Jeff, and to Derek's point I completely agree. I think we are all very sensitive about our hair loss. I know I was a lot more worried and nervous in the past about it before I had this procedure done. I will admit to you and be honest my look isn't perfect and it never will be, but something you learn and eventually will appreciate is that we are our harshest critic and sometimes we are just too harsh on ourselves. Part of this procedure I believe is letting go of that doubting part of yourself, because you and I know that's not who you truly are and that's not how I was. I'm a fun loving, laid back guy and I think my self image I projected on myself wasn't healthy and I'm not saying everyone who got this procedure or gets this procedure feels the same as I do. I honestly believe if this company is worth the time and effort to at least get a consultation set up just to see it for yourself. Derek is right, the pictures and videos do not do this process justice. I'm going to post a link to what it looks like now. You can compare it to the video on the testimonial page, which is right after the procedure.

JEFF FROM GLI WROTE: "We have isolated the component which can occasionally cause the illusion of a bluing effect. We have solved this issue by creating pigments with an additive which is non-reactive in the skin, even in people who have greater amounts of this enzyme. This additive creates an environment called "non-competitive inhibition" which prevents this reaction. "

What a bunch of crap. They have been destroying mens' heads for years now, and they are just finding this out now? My Mom is a dermatologist and she never heard of this enzyme stuff regarding blue. Furthermore, they say they "make" their own ink. Since "ink" must be sterlized before use, how do they do this when GLI doesn't even have an autoclave? I wrote to these smucks a while back and asked them how they sterilized. They said they did NOT use an autoclave, but used disposables. So what a farce about making their own ink, too. They use regular ink or cosmetic ink so that's why heads are turning blue. Face it, they are liars. The only reason ink would turn blue is because there is blue in the ink. The same with green. This company continues to lie just to make a buck. They have three solid complaints against them with the BBB. READ THIS ON ANOTHER FORUM: "Weird & creepy story about the shill from GLI stalking you. But it sure sounds like them. Fortunately, they'll be out of business soon enough. Unfortunately, they got to you."
