Thank You
We were looking for another company to print and make our board games. I just felt I should not deal with EPI/DeLano Service,Inc. After reading this blog. I know I made the right choice. |
I feel sorry for all of you. I hope people think
before ordering from a Company like that. It sounds like to me the same few people who did this are still working for EPI/DeLano. I will not order from them. |
To bad that some of DeLano co-workers
were treated so bad by the ones who are working for EPI/DeLano. If they could not show any respect for longtime co-workers.How in the world, would they show respect for customers at EPI/DeLano. |

Super late reply. I'm just now checking messages. Bruce was let go when Juan bought the business. I heard through the city grapevine that he was able to find another managorial job. |

I heard the DeLano clique has had thier pay cut in half. Now it was cut another 10%. I do not feel
sorry for any of you. After what you did to your co-workers at DeLano. It sounds like to me, everything is falling apart for you. |

Wow! I am one of the co-workers and I can't figure out what the people working at EPI did to us. Will someone let me in on it so I can be mad at them too. I thought we were all mad at Juan for running the company in the ground.

Juan did not run the company into the ground. He appointed four people to run the shop and give him advice. The four people lied to him all the time about what was going on, to cover up all the mistakes they made. Had thier high school kids come in and collect a pay check for doing nothing.
They could not run a machine, when the production line was down, because they were not eighteen years old. So Juan paid all these kids to sit around, doing nothing half the time. All the rework of so much product, cost Juan a a ton of money, it was all covered up by the four people. The four people hand picked who would work for the Bank, when DeLano was took over by the Bnak. Juan paid the 4 people big bucks. He trusted them to be honest with him, instead they lied to him and keep taking his money. The people working at EPI are the ones who broke DeLano. I hope people can see it was just not Juan that broke the Company. The four people and thier hand picked buddies are at EPI. They screwed everyone else. |

Were those 4 people veteran DeLano employees or new ones he hired in specifically? He should've just kept Bruce on since Bruce had been there for 15-20 years or so.

(3 with 20-33 Years In)(1 with 3-5 years in-backed by the other 3) They managed to get Bruce fired through there lies about all the re-run that
had to be done. |
How Sad it is.
I will not order anything from EPI/DeLano. I Think EPI should let the 4 people go, after what they did. I am going to stand up for what is right, for the AMERICAN WORKER and not order anything from that Company. |
It is very sad. I hope the game customers don't have there games made at EPI/DeLano. We should start a boy-cott of the companies that still do.
I placed a order with EPI/DeLano. It took forever to get my game produced. The customer service people were very rude to me, after taking my down payment for the new run of games. It took them 10 days to ship me my first sample game after it was produced, I don't think EPI will ever get there shit together. I asked them to send a customer 2 cases of games bt UPS next day air and they sent it Reg, than my customer would not pay me for the games. DeLano customer service would do nothing for me, but take my money. I would not have any more games produced by them. EPI/DeLano is bad news. I know Trend Enterprises has been shipped bed product. BEWARE of EPI/DeLano.
WOW
It sounds like to me one of EPI/DeLano customers may say good bye. That is EPI/DeLano's bigest customer. I think a One million dollar customer (Trend Enterprises). It sounds like to me some of the Allegan DeLano crew may get a big lay-off if Trend takes thier product some where else to be produced. What goes around comes around. |
That is to bad. I worked for DeLano Service,Inc. for
about eight years back in the 80's. It was such a family, where people helped people out. How such a few people could bring it down. Those people will have to live with them selves. In the final chapter of thier life, it will not be peace but fear as all the mean things done to other people will surface. |
I ordered some games. I still have not received them. Come to find out they were never printed. Now I will not have them in time for the Christmas
Rush. Neither will my customers. EPI/DeLano will never get another order from us. Its to bad, because at one time DeLano could deliver on time. Not anymore. EPI/DeLano is bad news in the game market place. |
Bad job on my games. Slow service. Deck of cards in game were missing cards. Will not give them another order. EPI/DeLano of Battle Creek.
i see their old building has finally been purchased and is being upgraded

I worked at DeLano for about Six years. 1990-96. It was a good company to work for at that time. It is to bad it closed. When a printing shop shut down and re opens with allot of new people-you always have big time problems-sometimes they never get worked out. So called key people going with the company does not work out. Sometimes they are the ones who caused the Company to fold in the first place. I wish all of you the best of luck.
