WZZM13 - Update: Allegan County Deputy Involved in Shooting

An Allegan County Deputy is on administrative leave after shooting a man police thought was holding a gun.

This is an opportunity to show support for our law enforcement professionals who have a very difficult and thankless job. The guy refused a directive and deserved to be put down. He is lucky to be alive.

The Allegan county deputy had no choice but to shoot the person who had a gun in his hands. It could of been a real one and the Officer would of been the one shot. What about the blood or what looked like blood on him? Also why would he lie about shooting his ex wife and her boyfriend?

good job Allegan. You didn't take a chance on being the victim. Did what you were trained to do. Hopefully, you will be back on the job soon. Only problem I see is the turd will probably be back out there soon. This time with a real gun.

i don't understand why he was on leave. from everything i read, it sounds like he did as he should have done, and the man's injuries aren't life-threatening.
