Does anyone know what ever happened to the electronics vocational
teacher at hopewell high school? He sure was a great guy, fantastic teacher. I'm just thinking back to that time .
I sure enjoyed that class. I wish todays students could get involved in a trade like they offered back then. We need more young people involved. Whats happening to our schools?

Liberals and their PC ideas. They think EVERYONE should go to college, but all kids are up to it. Most would be better served to learn a trade.

In '86 it was Mr. Seaman- a mountain of a man who had no trouble planting his Herman Munster sized boot on us if we got out of line. He did not believe in sending us to the office. A great teacher. Schools need more like him that are not afraid to keep students in line!!!

I agree, he didn't have a problem with his class at all. Todays kids are too busy trying to be cool and have not a care in the world about their future. I wish the school board would look into
opening up these classes to the students. If you get the right teacher, he can make a real impact on their lives. Does anyone know where " Edgar Seaman " is now. I wish him well in his retirement. How about the Heating/air conditioning teacher Mr James G.? do they still live around the tri cities area?

Mr. Seaman passed away several years ago I think, not positive on that. Mr. Gay teaches at John Tyler as well as Mr. Bell
