You all feeling so sorry for the little so-called girl need to figure this thing out. Do you really think she was held abduction? She was with him because she wanted to be. Just watch and see when the whole story comes out.
I was thinking that also. In survelence footage were they not spotted at a Walmart or something together. She didnt seem ot be held hostage. When they showed her photo on TV....I told my wife....holy crap she looked 12 going on 25. Glad she's OK.....curious about the hole story. hmmmmm sick warped love triangle????

this sorry white bitch payed with her life. very luck"ly it did not cost her daughter's life also. the man very simply" got to thinking how much more attractive and how much better sex with the young new daughter would be than with a worn out older bitch. not very smart on mommy's part. hard cold fact's of life.

The man is to blame period. Even if it turns out that Brittany is the one that actually killed her mom.

I do think if Brittany had anything to do with her mother's murder she should NOT get by with it because she is considered a child. At 12 years old you KNOW that it is wrong and illegal to take someone's life and you know the consequences.
Which is it lol ? You want it both ways.

Just asking...LOL

It was not a contradiction. I DO believe the man is to blame for the entire situation. I believe that if the girl had something to do with it that it was because the man enticed her. BUT just because the man started this crazy chain of events I DO still believe that the girl should be punished as well. IF she had something to do with the murder . She is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong no matter how "in love" she may have been with this man.
That is why I told the person in the previous post that I agreed with MOST of what they said.

It's sad that people have done convicted Brittany based on what little has been told.

If people were convicted by the court of public opinion, the majority of prisoners in this country would be innocent.

Innocent until proven guilty! In this case,I'm leaning more towards innocent.

We'll see!

When I was 12 I had a mind of my own, and knew right from wrong. I also knew that you should never take the life of another person. If Brittany was in on murdering her mom, she should be held accountable.

As for the perverted nasty man, I hope the jail falls in on him.

Let's put the blame on this tragic incident where it belongs; on Easley the 32 year old man. No matter how old Brittany looks she is only 12 years old, a child. For those of you so willing to blame the mother for meeting this guy on the internet and moving him in…Give me a break. In this day and age many people meet via the internet. They get to know each other and some form personal relationships from these internet meetings. Many of these “internet meetings” work out and long relationships ensue (even marriage).
Mom could have done everything that has been mentioned on here to check this Easley guy out…We do not know. In my opinion and experience of situations like this, this Easley character is a child predator. These child predators are very skilled at what they do. I think Britney’s mother was targeted by Easley. She was picked so that he could go after her daughter. Let’s not forget that Easley lived in the same house with Britney and her mother for over a year. So Britney was very comfortable with Easley.
This is probably a case of a child predator gaining mom’s trust just to get at her daughter. As I said before these predators are very good at what they do. This 12 year old girl thinks that this 32 year old man (that lives in the same house) loves her. She is 12 and a child, he is an adult. Britney does not have the mental maturity to decide to have a relationship with an adult.
Mom probably discovered this “relationship” between her daughter and Britney. Mom confronted Easley and may have told him that she was going to the police. This would be a predators worse nightmare (he was about to be outed as a child molester). Easley kills mom and runs off with daughter. Britney “thinks” she is in love with this child predator. Let’s not forget that Britney is only 12. Think back to when you were 12. How mature were you? What was your idea of Love? How did you feel when someone older (adult) paid attention to you? Think about this before you blame the child regarding this.
Let us not be so harsh on mom either. How many adults have had the wool pulled over their eyes by someone. The child predator Easley is to blame for this.
This is just my opinion and speculation on my part.
Bull crap.... britt has had several chances to get away from this man, he does sleep, has to go to the restroom... she wasn't being forced to to follow him.. i agree with you on a 12 year old being somewhat carried away with an older guy. but most 12 years old i know look at 32 year old men as old man. all i can say i hope it doesn't happen to someone else, but it will because our society allows this happen, by inviting men or women in your homes and know little about, because all they want is the sexual gratification. now, who determined this man is a child preditor? does he have a history of that, or have a record. i thought i read that his past consisted of traffic offenses, i may be wrong. no matter how you spin it, britt was there when mom was killed and one of them or both did it. she is in this knee deep and not the innocent child as the police are acting like. tghe police chief there needs to retire he is a joke with the act he has put on. he isn't doing anything but satisfying the media because they dropped the ball when they went to the house and didn't check any further. by the time a friend went to the house 2 days later and found tina, those two were haalready half way across the country..

My grandmother was married at 13 and started having kids at 14. When I was 11 years old I knew that I had to look out for my sister when we was riding bikes because she could run out in the road so you do know at a young age right and wrong and consequences.I know kids are very immature these days but they are still capable of being adults and thinking like adults when needed.

trust no one, he will be "determined" a child preditor now. Who gave you the right to determine that the police chief is a joke? How do you know hes not doing anything but satisfying the media? You have no facts to back up your statement. I do agree this girl is in it knee deep. She also had plenty of chances to escape if she was being held against her will. But this is just my opinion.

I by no means think that IF she had anything to do with her mothers death that she should not be punished. At 12 she should know right from wrong.

I alone called him a predator...Based on the fact that he is a grown adult praying on a child. It is my opinion, of which I am entitled, just as you are yours. Many "predators" have no previous record or history of as child predators until they are caught.

"Bull crap.... britt has had several chances to get away from this man, he does sleep, has to go to the restroom". Using this logic Elizabeth Smart should have been able to escape her captor, after he no longer tied her up at night...and she was 14 at the time. Elizabeth also lied to the police about her identity on 2 occasions. I do not blame Elizabeth Smart for not getting away from her capture any more then I can blame Britney. The fact is that none of us know the details of this situation.

Britney may well be knee deep into this whole situation. If she is then she will have to suffer the consequences of her actions. It just seems that everyone on here is quick to blame Britney and her mother instead of the POS that is at fault.

okay lets all blame the victim...while we don't know what exactly happened...this whole thing about her having several chances to escape...IF he killed her mom, she was probably terrified of this guy. I suppose you people think Elizabeth smart should be blamed to...There is a thing called brain washing and fear. And these monster know how to use it. Not to mention Stockholm Syndrome.

I personally don't feel at all sorry for this loser, even if he didn't kill the mother, what the hell is he doing with a 12 year child...He is a freak and a monster...and yeah in prison unless he is in PC he will be dealt with.

I'm glad the girl was found alive, I hope she is okay
WOW! You called the person stupid because they might have had the wrong information! Does it make you feel better to call someone stupid? I bet when you said that you felt like you were better than this person huh?
