I hope that now we can get back to the business of unifying our town. No matter who won we need to do that. This was a vile campaign on all sides and Hopewell needs to get on with it.

I feel bad for Hopewell and Nino. But at least he won't have to deal with corrupt cops and the citizens for gooder government.

Now that the HCGG has got their guy in the CAs office, maybe they can set their sights on something new. Why does the City Manager get a 6% pay raise every year while the rest of the city's employees haven't gotten a raise in two years running? Go get em guys.

Well you should start at the top. Why does city council hire the cast-offs of other cities? Why did they give a contract with a guaranteed pay raise to a cast-off? Why did said cast-off give a raise to director level employees in 08 with a promise of raises for the rest of the peons in 09? Why did the peons not get any raise in 09, not even COLA, but the cast-off got his 6%? I know some good people that work for the city, doing a good job for the citizens of Hopewell, and they are getting the business end of a nice thick stick. All most of them want is to be treated fairly. The cast-off has made most of these people start to dislike jobs that they have loved and thrived at for many years. HCGG should try standing up for those people, and prove they want what's best for Hopewell.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Virgo

You're finally at your best after relaxing and catching your breath for a moment. Now that you're rested, it's time to do some of the things you've been putting off lately. Make a sudden appearance to surprise someone from your past. No matter how many new people you meet, don't forget that old friendships are the glue that holds the relationship cycle together. Keep in mind that a present doesn't have to cost much, as long as it comes from the heart.
