I think that is too much time for a drug charge. It don't make since that they are giving murderers a slap on the wrist. My brother was killed and the guys that did it only got 2years,and that is wrong.somebody need to do something about this.I mean i understand what they are doing is wrong too but sometimes it's best to try to help them instead of throwing them into jail, a lot of people do things they don't want to do but have to do. It is hard out here especially when u don't have help.

Whatever. It's not like he's contributing anything to this world. 30 years isn't long enough.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

If it were my son, I would disown him for being a worthless scumbag.

Then I would punch myself in the face for raising a worthless scumbag.

GI Joe, I agree with you entirely. Why is everyone always worried about the criminal? Isn't it about time they started worrying about the crime rate and the victims? To heck with the criminals.

That's why people end up doing even worse crimes and turn into real criminals because the government treats drug dealers like murders and murders like drug dealers. 30 years for that? And people walking around here FREE with bodies on their hands. GI Joe and Billy Bob y'all some fools. Just because you do your crimes and don't get caught doesn't mean you should belittle someone who did.

Not only can you not speak the language...you can't write it either. Luh you? Is it too hard to throw that "ve" in there instead of the "h"? The guy got what was coming to him. If they don't make criminals pay hefty prices for committing crimes, then it just encourages the criminals to keep on doing what they're doing. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just jaded. Im not the richest guy in the world, but I work a full-time job so that I can pay for the things I want and need. This guy just wanted to make a quick buck without working too hard, just like a bunch of you out there. Instead of wasting my tax dollars feeding and sheltering him for the next quarter century, they should just get rid of him. Three strikes and you're out. If they did that the crime rate might start going down.

Ugh! You people are so close minded. If something happened to you or ur loved ones you would want support and any help you could get. Stop acting like the earth sits beneath you. Like you and your family are so perfect. Most of us are racist and I believe billy bob gi joe and english if it was ur "pal" Peter from down the street that was in this predicament you would be talking ish, you would be putting money on his canteen. And who cares about how Tara spells things. YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT SHE SAID DIDN'T YOU? Stop acting like high functional retards!

This guy had priors and that plays a big roll in sentencing. As far as the murders, the system has a charge called Manslaughter, which means you can get less time for a murder. If you have no money, no big friends in big places, prepare to make a deal or do time. Life isn't fair and when you do wrong don't expect the law to be fair. The whole thing is like Vegas, there maybe a lot more behind these charges than we know. You do wrong, you take a chance on your life and family and if it's worth that, than prepare to deal with the consequence's.We all have a choice

Sorry to disappoint you, Danja, but this isn't even based upon race, it's based upon the premise that if you commit a crime (or a number of crimes in his case) you should expect punishment. Cut and dried, society has laws that need to be enforced. And no, I would not be putting money in anyone's canteen if they had been convicted of a crime. Our penal system is too soft on prisoners as it is.

I believe everyone here needs to take a pill. The only person here that has a made true statement is Bear! And as far as the penal system goes it is over ran; with short timers that need help. While there's hi-rollers of sorts out there that don't get what they deserve. By far is the law stright up. There is always exceptions.I'm not defending anyone here but Bear has made the most sense.

I agree Billy Bob if you do the crime You should pay or be ready to deal with the circumstances. How ever , some people have seen the bad side of the system and got a bad deal. Example: look how they are paying people money for wrong imprisonment,or people who seen there love one's get locked-up, even lied on by people with authority. try not to put so much trust in the system, it's not fair or all that it's cracked up to be. If it was full-proof we wouldn't be spending tax dollars on paying back innocent people

Here is a remedy for all; If you don't have money, high powered friends or a deal on the table for the authorities, prepare to do time! Oh and race has nothing to do with that!If you ever had an encounter with the police before 9 times out of 10,your not going to approach any situation the same as someone who has never been in trouble before.Word to the wise,if you get in trouble, guess who is going to be on the jury (people who haven't been in trouble before) People of YOUR PEERS
