Dog makes meal of tires on deputy's cruiser

One in a North Carolina town decided to try and eat one. The Cumberland County sheriff's office says a pit bull deflated all four tires of a deputy's cruiser near Hope Mills on Sunday.

I once had a friend whose Irish Setter puppy ate a pound of nails, and the box from around a Holley carburetor.
The vet told my friend not to worry -- it would pass, which it did, nails and all.
Dogs will, evidently, eat just about anything.
