We just had a salesman from this company come to our house tonight. They called literally every day except Sunday for the past month trying to get us to accept a free estimate. It took 2 hours for him to tell us that it would cost $16,000 to do our roof... which I priced materials for doing myself at $2,100. That's a pretty big profit for one day's work. The sales guy would not take no for an answer and could not catch the hint that we were done and he needed to leave my house. He just kept standing in my kitchen, awkwardly staring at me and telling me what a deal I was missing. I sent my 8 month pregnant wife to the back of the house and considered going to get my gun because the guy was weirding me out so much. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in my own home. I didn't know what was going to happen but the whole thing did not feel right. We had the same loud telephone call to the boss that someone else mentioned. I told the sales guy what materials would cost me and that I could get a few friends to help me put it up and he scoffed at me. He might as well have spit in my face with the look he gave me. Nobody comes into my home and treats me that way. I would never do business with this company based on that interaction. I don't know how the rest of their company works but I have done roofing before in my life and many things this guy was saying were lies and outright deceptive. The salesman wouldn't leave his card, any quote or informational material. Early on my wife said she wasn't sure there was any color roofing she liked and the sales guy said "well, you can lock in this price now and decide what color you want later." the whole thing felt like a scam to me. I would not trust these guys.

MY mom and dad had a metal roof put on by this company. We now have 3 leaks in the bathroom ceiling plus wall damage!!! Advanced Metal Roofing will not come to check it out, they just keep promising that someone will call us back. Another company can have someone here to fix it within 24hrs. Guess we'll send AMR the bill, not that we will ever see the money!!!!
