I can't believe the light sentences that judges in Hawai'i mete out to habitual offenders. The Big Island man had 14 CONVICTIONS plus a laundry list of other offences. No wonder the state has such a pervasive problem with drugs, drunk driving, and antisocial behavior. There are no real consequences for illegal actions.
