LATEST POLL data

Honolulu, HI

"The latest CNN/ORC poll released today shows a wider lead for President Obama than the previous CNN/ORC poll but it is doubly skewed. It massively under-samples independents while it also over-samples Democratic voters. The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll official reports Obama at 52 to percent and Mitt Romney at 46 percent. Unskewed, the data reveals a 53 percent to 45 percent lead for Romney.

This new CNN/ORC survey, unlike many other analyzed, not only over-samples Democratic voters, but also massively under-samples independent voters, to produce a result more favorable to Barack Obama. This survey's sample includes 397 registered Republicans and 441 registered Democrats. But the survey included a total of 822 registered voters, leaving only 37 independent voters at most. The survey clearly under-sampled independent and Republican voters.

Among the Democrats survey, 97 percent favored Obama while three percent support Romney. The Republicans surveys chose Romney by a 96 percent to two percent margin. Those margins display a high degree of party loyalty in each party for its candidate, which is plausible in a campaign like this one where both sides are focusing heavily on boosting turnout among their base. Independents, who are massively under-sampled in this survey, support Romney by a 54 percent to 40 percent margin.

The sample for the CNN/ORC poll includes 50.4 percent Democrats and 45.4 percent Republicans and appears to have only 4.2 percent independents. This means independents are under-sampled 25 percent while Democrats are over-sampled 12.1 percent. Both of those are larger variations in sampling than seen in most polls that are likewise skewed by such sampling variations.

Rasmussen Reports recent reporting of partisan trends among voters, based on tens of thousands of voters surveyed, showed the voting electorate made up of 35.4 percent Republicans, 34.0 percent Democrats and 30.5 percent “Unaffiliated” or independent voters. Clearly 6.5 percent of a sample as independents is a large under-sampling of those voters compared to 30.5 percent.

Unskewing this data to make up for the likely 25 percent under-sampling of independent voters shows the results are quite different. With the weightings of independents, Democrats and Republicans conducted by the Rasmussen numbers, this poll's data would indicate a Romney lead over Obama of 53 percent to 45 percent. That is almost exactly the reverse of the 52 percent to 46 percent lead it reports in favor of Obama. The sampling skew of this poll actually reverses the result that should be shown by the data.'

lol...bottom line: polls are rigged. Romney is up by 5-7 points now over obama.

The polls are rigged by the media so people will become alarmed and pay attention to the upcoming election, and watch their news broadcasts/ advertising. Most American know who they'll vote for already and aren't changing their minds because of some speech. If Obama really wanted to succeed in the polls he would announce a tax cut, period. Who would whine about that? The no-loads, the takers, the useless eaters.

Low and Middle class voters are never polled. Quite frankly there are more of them then those available for these presidetial polls we have been seeing daily. Same thing with ethnic races like Asians, hispanics,Blacks, and others. Another factor to consider is male and female political DNA. The BIG QUESTION is how will these voters vote come November? For Obama or Romney they must have the majority over 50% of these factors to win. Anyone that believes these polls are accurate is just fooling themselves.

Why risk your life for a poll? You'd need a SWAT team to escort you while you poll those fine American citizens.

WND EXCLUSIVE
Savage: Islamic takeover hatched in Obama's 'ivory tower'
'The tyranny they have unleashed will come home to haunt us'
Published: 15 hours ago

The policy that has hastened the political rise of Islamic radicalism and the attacks on diplomatic missions in Egypt and Libya in the wake of the so-called “Arab Spring” was hatched in the “ivory tower” of the Obama administration, charged talk-radio host Michael Savage today.

“We’ve gone from the ivory tower to the loss of power, literally in one administration,” he told his “Savage Nation” audience.

Savage pointed to three women in the Obama administration who helped advance the policy that ousted Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi and created the political vacuum in which radical jihadists attacked the U.S. Consulate today and killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and four others.

Secretary of Stare Hillary Clinton, Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice and Special Assistant to the President Samantha Power convinced Obama to go to war with Libya based not on American interests, but on a doctrine championed by leftist billionaire activist George Soros, Savage noted.

As WND has reported,“responsibility to protect” is based on the belief that sovereignty is a responsibility not a right and focuses on prevention of crimes against humanity rather than defending America’s borders.

Savage noted he predicted in his book “Trickle Down Tyranny” that the Obama policy would help bring the Islamic radicals to power.

The decision to go to war against Gadhafi, Savage wrote in his book,“reveals just how flimsy Obama’s foreign policy was in the testosterone-free zone known as the Obama White House.”

Savage recalled Hillary Clinton’s boast in an interview with CBS News after Gadhafi was killed last October.

“We came, we saw, he died,” she said, laughing.

Savage, meanwhile, praised Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney for accusing Obama of apologizing for American values.

Romney criticized the Obama administration’s “disgraceful” initial response to violence in Libya and Cairo.

“I think it’s a terrible course for America to stand in apology for our values, instead when our grounds are being attacked, being breached, the first response of the United States is to be outraged,” Romney said.“The statement was akin to an apology and I think was a severe miscalculation.”

Romney said America should “never hesitate when we see something which is a violation of our principles.”

Savage said that in the “ivory tower occupied by the academics in this administration, real men are not welcome, so it has fallen to three women.”

“You’ve only seen the beginning of what’s coming,” Savage warned.“The tyranny they have unleashed in the Middle East will come home to haunt us here in this United States.”

It's an old joke too. Carter used it when the muzzies took hostages. Mr. Reagan was going to start off his term with a joke too, but the muzzies didn't want to joke with him. They didn't find the Punchline, "The bombers are warming up om the runway," very funny and stopped playing that same day.

Mixing multiple events together Joe. The hostage deal was already done, Reagan had the hostages kept by the Iranians until after the election to ensure Carter got no credit. Carter actually had many "black-op" military missions going on against Marxist, Extremist groups around the globe. The hostage rescue failed due to the use of the then new Blackhawk helicopters, not outfitted for desert warfare like they are now.

The "bombing starts in twenty minutes" was a crack by Reagan used against the Soviets, not Muslim extremists. Carter kept up a virile American military/policing presence in the third-world, yet he's remembered as a joke-strange how public perception is allowed to become reality if it works for the status quo.

Carter attempted military intervention in the Iran hostage case--he didn't sell them weapons that our troops are facing today like Reagan did, illegally.

Reagan didn't talk with Muslim extremists, he armed and funded them, under the leadership of a guy named Osama Bin Laden.

And, just for shits and giggles, he gave mustard gas and other 75mm and 155mm binary chemical shells to a guy named Saddam Hussein.

I like Reagan, he was the first president I was old enough to vote for. But, his administration was just flat out wrong and/or criminal on a host of decisions they carried out. All this War on Terror and our continuing entanglements in the middle east, are the results of the Reagan era--GOP policies. So let me ask you honestly, "why do people think this kind of approach is so great?"
