local cleaners which has been here forever now gone.

Out of town guests stunned that Aloha tower businesses now gone, Don Ho's, Chi's Island Biestro, Sam Choy's (down the street).

Marketplace gone to be replaced by Saks. Rodeo Drive watch out. lololol

We could have had a Walgreens out here but people protested that it would create only entry level jobs.

Huge development just approved at makai Kakaako

Costa Rico is now being called the new Hawaii.

My friend wants me to check out that country, and Panama. Not ready to leave the US though.

CVS here is announcing that they will not longer sell cigarettes and tobacco here.

hey lolo...did you see this?! This will be HUGE!!!
http://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/news/2013/...

....why don't you take a stake in this? Time is NOW to get in here. It will be the hottest RE market in Oahu within a couple of years, if not sooner. New Target, New Whole Foods, restaurants, beaches, trades, etc. A&B is a GREAT company to take this to the next level. Then you can have a place on both sides of the island, and Waikiki! Think about it.

No reason to stay in Hawaii for the Waianae Tard. Costa Rico must be located in Middle America.

The Waianae coast area is known as the most economical depressed low income place to live. With Oahu home prices at $600.000 Waianae area homes can be had for $250,000. Recent real estate news shows this area is the only one that has fallen in value. Why would Walgreens want to open up a full service store in this area? If Price Busters could not make any money what makes you think the biggest pharmacy store in the USA could? Only way that could happen is they can see a future for this area in terms of growth and income for the local area families.

No Pricebusters here, they are island wide, evidently to become Pier 1. You get out much?

Walgreens planned a store in Nanakuli but was not allowed to build.

Re property values, one of my incomes was assessed double what I paid for it. Which I am protesting.

You hear ads for some money making in real estate seminars? One subject is why a home is not considered an asset. You should go and explain it to the world. It's probably free.

A&B operates in an odd manner and I doubt an insider would get in.

Also I have been in an escrow contract since August 2012.(yep). More later, meet you and JB at Roys when it closes, walking distance. lolol

Tradewinds had parking for $75/month, now going up to $275 a month, owners with boats park in boat harbor.

First thing you should do is get off buying illegal food stamps. A small step for a big azzhole like you. After that go get a job flipping burgers because wishing somebody gave you some money is not going to happen.

Yes, he owns lots of signature properties. He puts his money in RE. No other place to make it and have it be a long term hold. He is just having fun with his $$Billions.

nice post.

homes are not assets, they are liabilities as you have to pay it off.

Income properties are assets as they draw in income. It is just an accounting term.

Yeah, stuff is happening out there. Watching the Lakers wipe out the Thunder here...see how long it lasts.
