Congratulations tro Iolani on a hard-fougt victory....bt, I take issue with some of the oficiating. They got a BIG break in th third quarter when their long 91-yard drive was kept alive with a susicious non-call. Their receiver stepped out-of-bounds yet was allowed to make a third down catch for a first down. Iolani may have had to punt or try a long field goal. Well, that's the breaks against Kauai High...they still had their chances and made errors.

Wah Wah Wah!!! Cry babies!!! Just suck it up, losers. Cannot beat Iolani so you guys cry for them to move up to D1...hahaha, what a joke! I not from Iolani but I hate cry baby whiners. The school is bigger than St. Louis because Iolani is coed, you idiot! Go easy on Iolani because the doctor that removed the dildo that was jammed to far up your butt could very well be an Iolani graduate.

Go easy on Iolani because the doctor that removed the **** that was jammed to far up your butt could very well be an Iolani graduate. Look at their record. Iolani was wiped out by CASTLE. We fed them humble pie. As we did Waianae. Only suspicious officiating derailed us this year against Kahuku (Offsides no-call on their last touchdown which will be forever preserved on disc) and against Farrington (28-20 when referee beever ejects Garrett Paredes, the soul of Castle, in the third quarter along with Farrington player Seth Elai. Castle visibly slumps after that ejection, and we lose. The OIA reverses the ejections on the next Tuesday following a challenge from Farrington Coach Okimoto, saying that the ejections were unwarranted. Great!!! That helps Farrington a lot but what about Castle? We should have replayed the game from the time of the ejection!) Iolani sandbags! They hide behind this so-called "small enrollment". No way! Their situation is more like "selective enrollment". They turn down many prospective students. They can pick and choose. They just pick and choose to act like we don't know this game that they're playing. MOVE UP TO D1 Iolani. Give some financial aid to more football players. Give more POOR and disadvantaged kids a shot at an education. This is the krux of the matter, and you know it.

any one of the DII players on any of the DII teams could kick your ass, there football players, and it don't matter what school they go to. Its so funny to see people like this guy belittle the accomplishments of DII teams. You sir are a pathetic waste of space and a joke to all hawaii athletics. Congrats to all the DII teams this year.

Now that Iolani has won the Division II football championship repeatedly it is time for them to move up to Division I, at least for a couple of years. Since Word of Life now has a team there would still be the minimum number of three teams needed for an ILH Division II. Iolani fans want it both ways - they repeatedly cry phony tears about how they are too small for Division I yet brag endlessly when they defeat a Divison I team, as they have done several times the last couple of years. Schools should be in the same division for all sports and Iolani is Division I for everything else. If they want to be Division II for football then be Division II for basketball, volleyball and baseball. Don't pick and choose divisions according to what's convenient to winning. Iolani's exploitation of the two division system also hurts real Division II schools in other sports. Because Iolani dominates Division II football the OIA doesn't hesitate to stick giant Oahu schools like McKinley and Campbell in Division II for basketball or other sports. That's how you get some of Oahu's biggest schools playing against small neighbor island schools like Lanai or Kohala in Division II championship tournaments. The two division system is a good idea but it has been corrupted by those who seek to exploit it for state titles on the cheap.

one of the big problems with hawaii is the boiling crab mentality.
instead of people wanting to get better and compete with the best they try to drag the top dog down.
same thing happened to st louis when they were winning for so many years.
iolani is in the right division. looks like kauai is one of those schools that are catching on. they always go to the d2 tourney.
if they won this year, it would have been a nice story. their 4th qtr comeback was scary - like it was destiny.

eh iolani one team
cant take it - soo whhaattt
iolani football is a waste, ripping off true DII schools a chance at a championship
stop recruiting like DI football schools and completely stop playing DI ILH schools or play two hand touch or flag football if no can handle
Let Damien, Pac Five, WOL represent the ILH DII football and allow all the other OIA and NI schools a chance.
just brutualizing the ILH rule of one DII sport by gender; whats up with that non sense rule bothello?

HAH! Man...Iolani may be undersize but they got some damn good players. Right now the 2010 season has just finished but next year coah Look should be real excited. He's got REALLY good talent coming up. Max Look, a sloback, is extremely quick and can definetely make big time plays. Both corners (Reid Saito and Dylan Goto) are seniors and are graduating. No problem. An upcoming freshman, Austin Ohira, is an excellent corner. I saw one of his games and he is an amazing athlete with a big love for the game. ALso they have a great center coming up in Spencer Kim. Besides these standouts, Chad hanaoka and Chase Kanekuni will fill a lot of the holes left after graduation. A lot of pple are saying that Iolani should go Div 1. If they are to go up, they will dominate with these awesome freshman

Theres no question that Iolani will succeed in the upcoming years with new players from the freshman class. Max Look, Chase Kanekuni, Chad Hanaoka, Austin Ohira, and Dillon Itai. Also, you can't forget STL transfer JT. Los Banos. These players will help Iolani Football shine as it does today. Eh, and with all the commotion of moving up to DI, Iolani just doesen't want to own those schools and take everything. nuff said cuz... It doesen't matter about the size and athleticism, just the heart.
